Abstract

PURPOSE:To manufacture a headrest, which is provided with skins of different colors of high-design properties, without increasing a processing step, by a method wherein non-yellowing urethane paints having different hues are applied to the insides of a top and bottom forces to which a mold release agent has been applied beforehand, and a foamable polyurethane compounded solution is cast into the top and bottom forces for monolithic molding. CONSTITUTION:Non-yellowing urethane paints having different hues are applied respectively to the insides of a top and bottom forces uniformly to which a mold release agent has been applied beforehand, and then a foamable polyurethane compounded solution is cast for monolithic molding, by making use of an integral skin urethane foam molding method. Two-pack type urethane paints are preferable as the non-yellowing urethane paints. It is preferable that a compounded solution forming an integral skin foam whose core density of a urethane foam material is an extent of 0.1-0.07g/cm<3> is used as the foamable polyurethane compounded solution. With this construction, a headrest provided with a skin of different colors of high-design properties can be manufactured extremely easily.

(Prior art) A method for manufacturing a headrest made of 7-ohm urethane with a skin includes (A) injecting a foaming polyurethane stock solution into the inner surface of a cover skin containing a core material with stays;
(B) A method in which a headrest body made of a core material with stays and a polyurethane foam is fitted inside a bag-shaped skin sewn into the shape of a headrest cover (7 Applicants). Two methods were the mainstream: the suturing method).

However, both methods (A) and (B) require complicated operations because the skin is formed in a separate process, and when soft polyvinyl chloride is used as the material, the softening agent in the skin is used. There were also quality problems, such as volatilization and hardening of the inner plugs.

Moreover, in the headrest manufacturing process of method (A), although a single color product could be manufactured, it was not possible to manufacture a two-tone headrest with a high design quality.

In addition, as a method for molding polyurethane foam with a skin, (C) an integral skin urethane foam molding method, or (D) a mold coating method are known. (C) Integral skin 7 ohm method is
Since a dense skin layer and a foamed inner layer can be made from the same raw material in one process, it is extremely superior in terms of process simplification, but the physical properties of the skin have problems with weather resistance, especially incyanate. When aromatic incyanate is used as a component, it has the disadvantage that it is difficult to apply to products with colors other than black. When a non-yellowing polyurethane stock solution is used, it is possible to color the product in any desired color, but in this case as well, it is limited to single-color products, and it has not been possible to manufacture a two-tone headrest with a different color skin. In addition, the mold coating method (D) is the easiest method next to integral skin urethane foam in terms of process, and since it has a painted film, it can be colored in colors other than black if a non-yellowing type urethane paint is used. However, there was no precedent for this method being applied to the production of a two-tone headrest with a unique skin.

(Means for Solving the Problems) The present invention uses an integral skin urethane foam molding method, and applies non-yellowing urethane paints having different hues to the inner surfaces of upper and lower molds that have been previously coated with a mold release agent. The present invention relates to a method for manufacturing a headrest with a different-colored skin, which is characterized by uniformly coating the product, then injecting a foamable polyurethane compound solution, and integrally molding the product.

In the present invention, a release agent is applied in advance to the inner surfaces of the upper and lower molds used in the integral skin urethane foam molding method, and then non-yellowing urethane paints of different hues are uniformly applied to the inner surfaces of the upper and lower molds. do. As the mold release agent, various known ones can be used. The non-yellowing urethane paint may be either a highly polymerized linear polyurethane solution 2A hardening type urethane paint (solvent type or non-solvent type), but the thickness of the coating film after one coat A two-component curable urethane paint is preferable because it can produce a large surface roughness, have fewer defects such as surface roughness, air pockets, and pinholes, and provide a coating film with excellent solvent resistance.
As a specific non-yellowing urethane paint, for example,
7-43623 contains inorganic or organic 8! An example is one in which pigments are appropriately mixed. Before applying the urethane paint, a catalyst for accelerating the hardening of the paint film is added to the inner surface of the mold, either alone or mixed with a release agent, and then heated to a scorching temperature*1 using a sieve or other method. Alternatively, a terminal ethylene oxide-capped polyol having an average of 2 to 5 functional groups can be used as a component of the urethane paint, and these methods can shorten the curing time of the urethane paint.

In the present invention, the foamable polyurethane compounded liquid has a core density of 0.1 to 0.07 g/c of urethane 7 ohm material.
It is preferable to use a compounded liquid that forms an integral skin of about I+13 7 ohm. Molding can be carried out under known conditions, for example, after reacting and foaming at 40 to 50°C for about 3 to 5 minutes, Q-1 by opening the mold, molding, and then leaving it at room temperature for about 3 to 4 hours! It can be used as a finished product.

Example 1 Non-yellowing urethane paint was applied at 20±10 g/sin to a headrest processing mold using a Ni electroforming mold whose temperature was controlled at 40±2°C.
Apply to the inner surface at a flow rate of At this time, by changing the toner of the paint applied to the lower mold and the upper mold, two colors are applied. After drying the coating film for about 30 seconds, the mold is closed, and the Integral Skin 7 Ohm formulation solution is injected into the mold, followed by curing for about 5 minutes.

After curing, the product was removed from the mold and finished with a cutter knife, resulting in a highly designed two-tone headrest with different hues at the parting line for the upper and lower molds. Note that it is also possible to insert a highlight line in the parting line portion.
