Abstract

PURPOSE:To observe or watch the state of error of each magnetic head by totaling information indicating error of code of reproduced digital signals for each head of plural magnetic heads. CONSTITUTION:Television signals are distributed from an input terminal 1-1 to three channels in a distributor circuit 1-3 through an A/ converter 1-2, and error detection codes are added in an ECC adder circuit 1-4 and recorded by magnetic heads A-D. Record pattern of a magnetic tape 1-7 is reproduced by magnetic heads A-D, and decoded to digital signals by an equivalent circuit 1-9 through a pre-amplifier 1-8. The signals are inputted to a TBC1-10, and the variation of time axis is corrected, and the code errors are detected by an ECC1-11, and the errors that can be corrected are corrected.
