ニタ信号値を初期設定するに際し、上記モニタ信
号値が基準範囲内に収まるように上記制御対象パ
ラメータのリモート信号をフイードバツク制御す
るようにした制御装置であつて、リモート信号値
を適宜時間間隔毎に設定するリモート信号設定手
段と、このリモート信号設定手段で設定されたリ
モート信号値に応じたモニタ信号値が上記基準範
囲内に含まれるか否かを判別する判別手段と、こ
の判別手段で上記モニタ信号値が上記基準範囲内
に含まれていると判別された場合に１カウント分
だけ計数動作を行う計数手段と、上記判別手段で
上記モニタ信号値が上記基準範囲内に含まれてい
ないと判断された場合にリモート信号設定手段で
設定すべきリモート信号値を単位変化分だけ増加
若しくは減少させて設定すると共に上記計数手段
の計数値を消去する更新手段と、上記計数手段で
計数された連続個数が規定回数に達した際にモニ
タ信号値の初期設定を終了する終了タイミング決
定手段とを備えていることを特徴とする画像形成
