宜の手段によつて読み取られ、磁気デイスク5又
はフロツピーデイスク6等の記憶装置に記憶され
る。これらの位置情報及び絵柄情報は記憶装置か
ら読み出され、コンピユーター7に入力され
CRTモニター8上に表示される。作業者はカラ
ーモニター8上に表示されたマスクを示す線と、
色分解された絵柄との相対的位置を調整して色分
解された絵柄を所定の位置に配置させて、絵柄情
報と位置情報とを合成する。このような作業を各
色分解された絵柄について行なうことによつて、
1枚のフイルム上に出力すべき全ての絵柄の位置
が決定される。

す輪郭線10の位置情報を前記デイジタイザー3
等を用いて入力し記憶させておく。矩形A,Bの
位置情報はマスク情報と呼ばれ、矩形以外に円形
等種々のものである場合もある。デイジタイザー
による入力はグラフイツクデイスプレー4にて確
認することもできる。これらの矩形A,B及び必
要に応じて製版サイズを示す輪郭線10をCRT
モニター8画面に表示させる。別に既に記憶され
ている色分解された絵柄情報から得られる絵柄も
同じCRTモニター画面に表示させる。一方割付
指定紙(又は体裁ともいう)11には絵柄の輪郭
線12,13及びそのトリミング枠14,15が
所定の位置に表示されている。作業者はCRTモ
ニター8の画面に表示された矩形A,Bの画像
