本考案は海苔乾燥装置に係り、乾燥室の上部開
口部の下側に、吸湿性厚紙から成る熱交換器を配

応じて湿度呼吸をさせて乾燥室1内の湿度の激変
を防止し、乾燥室1の湿度を適度に保持して良好

終了すると乾燥室1外へ搬出される。6は乾燥室
1の下部に設けられた風ちらしである。12は乾
燥室1の上部開口部1aに配設された排気用フア
ンであつて、該フアン12の排風作用により、海
苔3の水分を奪つた排ガスは乾燥室1外へ排出さ

記熱交換器9を構成する管体93は、厚紙などの
繊維質の吸湿性材料により形成されているので、
その内部を通る排ガス中の水分の一部は、この管
体93に吸収されてこの管体93は保湿状態とな
り、乾燥室1内の湿度の変化に応じてこの管体9
3は自身の水分含有率を変化させ、言わば湿度呼
吸をするようにして、乾燥室1の湿度をより良好
な状態に保持せしめる作用を発揮する。かかる管
体93の作用により、乾燥室1の湿度状態はより
良好に保持されて、色つやのよい高品質の乾海苔
が生産される。また新鮮な外気は右側面9cから
熱交換器9内に入り、矢印aにて示すように横方
向に流れながら、矢印bにて示すように乾燥室1
から上部開口部1aへ向つて熱交換器9内を上昇
する排ガスの余熱を奪つて昇温された後、外気排
気面である左側面9dを出て連通部11を通り、
フアン17の送風作用により空気加熱室10に入
つて再度暖められた後、乾燥室1に入るので、冷

熱交換器9は排ガスの放出路に配設されているの
で、外部から吸入された外気を効率よく暖めて熱
効率を大巾に向上させることができる。更には熱
交換器9は特に吸湿性厚紙にて形成されているの
で、排ガスの湿度に応じて湿度呼吸をして乾燥室
1の湿度の激変を抑制し、乾燥室1内の湿度状態
をより良好に保持してより高品質の乾海苔を製造
