(Prior Art) FIG. 3 shows a seaweed drying apparatus that has been widely implemented in the past. An air heating chamber 32 is arranged on the side of a drying chamber 31, and outside air is introduced by a fan 33. The heated air is heated by the heat radiation of the heat exchange duct 34, and the warmed air is sent to the lower part of the drying chamber 31, blown upward, and spread on the cage 35 that is conveyed on the endless conveyance path 37 inside the drying chamber 31. It was designed to dry seaweed 36.

(Problem to be solved by the invention) However, such a seaweed drying device does not allow drying of seaweed.
Since the exhaust gas from which moisture has been removed is directly discharged from the upper opening 38 of the drying chamber 31 to the upper part of the drying chamber 31 as shown by arrow A, the humidity state of the drying chamber 31 is not maintained. It is stable, and as a result, there is a problem that drying of the seaweed 36 tends to vary, making it difficult to produce high-quality dried seaweed.

(Function) By configuring the seaweed drying apparatus in this way, the heat exchanger 9 prevents the exhaust gas that has taken away the moisture from the seaweed from being directly discharged from the upper opening 1a of the drying chamber 1. The humidity condition in the drying chamber 1 is maintained well to enable uniform drying of the seaweed 3 without variation, and to improve thermal efficiency. In addition, by forming the heat exchanger 9 especially from hygroscopic cardboard, the heat exchanger 9 is made to breathe humidity according to the humidity of the exhaust gas, preventing drastic changes in the humidity in the drying chamber 1, and maintaining the humidity in the drying chamber 1 at an appropriate level. This allows for good drying.

The right side surface 9c is exposed on the side wall surface of the drying chamber 1 and serves as an intake surface for outside air, and the left side surface 9d communicates with the air heating chamber 10 via a communication section 11, and is connected to the inside of the heat exchanger 9. This serves as an outside air exhaust surface that exhausts the outside air warmed by the heating chamber 10 toward the air heating chamber 10.
Therefore, the outside air is directed to the right side 9 as shown by arrow a.
c, the exhaust gas is drawn into the heat exchanger 9, passes between the tubes 93, and moves up toward the air heating chamber 10 while removing residual heat from the exhaust gas rising inside the tubes 93. Moreover, the air inside the drying chamber 1 rises inside each tube 93 as shown by arrow b, and is discharged outside the drying chamber 1 as exhaust gas from the opening 1a.

By opening and closing this as appropriate, the exhaust gas containing a large amount of moisture that has passed through the heat exchanger 9 and exited to the upper part thereof is refluxed to the air heating chamber 10 as shown by arrow c, and steam is sent to the drying chamber 1. This is to prevent the seaweed 3 from cracking or cracking due to excessive drying.

This device consists of the above-mentioned configuration, with drying chamber 1
The warm air blowing up inside takes away the moisture from the seaweed 3, becomes exhaust gas, and is released to the outside world from the opening 1a.
By the way, since a heat exchanger 9 is installed in the upper part of the drying chamber 1, the upward movement of the high humidity warm air that has taken away the moisture from the seaweed 3 is obstructed by the heat exchanger 9, and the above-mentioned problem occurs. Since it is not directly released from the opening 1a to the outside of the drying chamber 1 as in the conventional case, the humidity condition inside the drying chamber 1 is maintained well.
The seaweed 3 is dried uniformly without any variation. In particular, since the tube body 93 constituting the heat exchanger 9 is made of a fibrous hygroscopic material such as cardboard,
A part of the moisture in the exhaust gas passing through the interior is absorbed by this tube 93, and this tube 93 becomes moisturized.
3 changes its own moisture content, so to speak, to breathe humidity, and exhibits the effect of maintaining the humidity in the drying chamber 1 in a better condition. Due to the action of the tube body 93, the humidity condition in the drying chamber 1 is better maintained, and high quality dried seaweed with good color and gloss is produced. In addition, fresh outside air enters the heat exchanger 9 from the right side 9c, flows laterally as shown by arrow a, and enters the drying chamber 9 as shown by arrow b.
After the exhaust gas rising in the heat exchanger 9 toward the upper opening 1a is heated by removing residual heat, it exits the left side surface 9d, which is the outside air exhaust surface, and passes through the communication part 11.
Since the air enters the drying chamber 1 after entering the air heating chamber 10 and being warmed again by the blowing action of the fan 17, the temperature of cold outside air can be raised with thermal efficiency.

(Effects of the invention) As explained above, the seaweed drying apparatus according to the invention has the heat exchanger 9 disposed so as to close the upper opening 1a of the drying chamber 1, and the heat exchanger 9 covered with hygroscopic cardboard. Since the high humidity warm air rising inside the drying chamber 1 is prevented from rising by the heat exchanger 9 and is not directly discharged from the upper opening 1a, the humidity inside the drying chamber 1 is reduced. The condition is maintained well, so it is possible to produce high-quality dried seaweed with a good color and gloss without any drying variations. In addition, since the heat exchanger 9 is installed in the exhaust gas discharge path, it is possible to It is possible to efficiently warm the outside air and greatly improve thermal efficiency. Furthermore, since the heat exchanger 9 is especially made of hygroscopic cardboard, it breathes humidity according to the humidity of the exhaust gas, suppressing drastic changes in the humidity in the drying chamber 1, and improving the humidity state in the drying chamber 1. It is possible to produce higher quality dried seaweed with good retention.
