As shown in Japanese Patent Publication No. 55-30805, a continuous pot is made up of a number of paper tubes that are connected in a row with a connecting piece that has a separation part, and when one end of the paper tube assembly is pulled after raising seedlings, the individual paper tubes form a chain. Compared to the conventional collection of individually separated paper tubes, it is possible to draw them out sequentially using a pull-out roller or the like.
This is a seedling raising container that automatically supplies the entire paper cylinder to a drop tube or transplanting rod by cutting the connecting piece, allowing for completely automatic transplantation. The above-mentioned publication describes a device that sequentially pulls out this continuous paper tube assembly and cuts the separated portions of the connecting portions by applying a cutting force over time downward from the upper end of the slit line;
In other words, a continuous paper cylinder that is being pinched and conveyed by a pair of conveyors is pinched and pulled out by a pair of rotating cones that are provided corresponding to the conveyor exits and whose upper and lower ends have different circumferential speeds. An apparatus is shown in which the paper tubes are sequentially cut downward, separated into individual paper tubes, and transplanted through a drop tube. However, when the pair of rotating cones rotate to hold the paper tubes to be separated, the paper tubes are wet and soft, so they may slip or crush the paper tubes, causing subsequent paper to fall into the gripping section. There is a defect in which the tube becomes clogged, stopping the rotation of the rotating body and making separation work impossible. In addition, the separation part of each paper tube connection part is not at the same position of the two layers of paper,
Continuous paper cylinders arranged in a staggered manner cannot be separated by a device that cuts the separating portion, and require a peeling device. For this reason, the inventor conducted various research on a transplanter equipped with a separation device that can easily separate any type of continuous paper tube assembly connected at a connection section provided with a separation line. A pair of feeding rotors and a pair of separating rotors are provided with a necessary interval to allow the paper tube to pass through without being crushed, and each of the rotors is provided with a piercing body to securely support the paper tube. By providing
The solution was to create a device that can separate the continuous paper cylinder fed out from the feeding rotor into individual paper cylinders by the separation rotor.

On the other hand, a plate-shaped seedling mounting table 5 is provided on the upper part of the machine frame 1, and a paper tube seedling separating device 6 is provided at the front end of the seedling mounting table 5, and both are opposed to each other. Paper tube seedling separation device 6
consists of a pair of feeding rotors 7, 8 and a pair of separation rotating bodies 12, 13, and the feeding rotating bodies 7, 8 are spaced so that they do not crush the paper cylinder A' while coming into contact with both sides of the paper tube A'. As shown in FIG. Further, a large number of support needles 11 are fixed to each of the feeding rotary bodies 7, 8 for piercing and holding the side surface of the paper cylinder A' to be held. Even if the supporting needles 11 are fixed to a single rotating roller, the feeding rotary bodies 7 and 8 can be used as an endless belt with a belt 35.

The separation rotating bodies 12 and 13 are provided corresponding to the feeding parts of the feeding rotating bodies 7 and 8.
The rotating shafts 14 and 15 provided on the machine frame 1 are fitted and fixed so as to rotate in the horizontal direction together with the rotating shafts 8, and the rotating speed thereof is set to be faster than the rotational peripheral speed of the feeding rotating bodies 7 and 8, as will be described later. There is. This difference in circumferential speed causes the connecting portion of the paper tube to break. Moreover, this separation rotating body 12,
There is also a paper cylinder around 13 as well as the feeding rotary bodies 7 and 8.
A support needle 11 is fixedly provided to pierce and hold A'. Reference numeral 17 denotes a first horizontal shaft provided below the feeding rotors 7 and 8, which is supported by the machine frame 1 and has bevel gears 20 and 21 meshing with bevel gears 18 and 19 provided at the lower ends of the rigid shafts 9 and 10.
A sprocket is fixed to one end of the sprocket, and the sprocket 4 is opposed to the drive sprocket 4.
has been set up. Reference numeral 24 denotes a second horizontal shaft provided below the separating rotating bodies 12, 13, and is provided with bevel gears 27, 28 that mesh with bevel gears 25, 26 provided at the lower ends of the rotating shafts 14, 15, respectively. Further, a sprocket 29 is fixedly installed at one end, facing a sprocket 30 fixedly installed on the first horizontal shaft 17, and interlocked with the sprocket 29 by a chain 31 stretched between them. From the sprocket 30 of the first horizontal shaft 17, the second horizontal shaft 2
The sprocket 29 fixedly attached to the separating rotary bodies 12 and 13 is for speeding up the rotation, so that the rotational circumferential speed of the separating rotary bodies 12 and 13 is faster than the circumferential speed of the feeding rotary bodies 7 and 8. Due to this difference in circumferential speed, the connecting part B of the continuous paper tube assembly A breaks and separates from the individual paper tubes, so the sprocket 3
The sprockets 29 and 30 are set to have a large diameter, and the circumferential speed is usually twice or more.

This device has the above-mentioned configuration, and when the continuous paper cylinder assembly A is placed on the seedling mounting table 5, one end is pulled out, it is held between the feeding rotors 7 and 8, and it is pulled by a traction device such as a tractor. The rotation of the grounding wheel 2 causes the drive pulley 4 to rotate, and the first horizontal shaft 17 to which the sprocket 23, which is interlocked with the pulley 4 through a chain 22, is fixed, rotates, causing the bevel gears 18, 19,
The feeding rotors 7 and 8 fixedly attached to the hard shaft 9 are rotated by 20 and 21 so that their opposing surfaces face in the feeding direction. Due to this rotation, the continuous paper cylinder assembly A is securely held by the support needles 11 provided on the rotating bodies 7 and 8, and is fed forward in parallel to the feeding direction at the same speed as the circumferential speed of the rotating bodies 7 and 8. be done.

On the other hand, the separation rotors 12 and 13, which are interlocked via the sprockets 29 and 30 and the chain 31, receive the continuous paper cylinder assembly A that is fed out from the feed rotation bodies 7 and 8 in parallel to the feeding direction, and sequentially move the paper cylinders to the support needles. The paper tube A' is held between the separation rotors 12 and 13 while being held at the paper tube 16, but the separation rotors 12 and 13 rotate at a faster circumferential speed than the feeding rotors 7 and 8, and also synchronize the paper cylinder A' that they are holding. Since the supporting needles 16 of the separating rotors 12 and 13 and the supporting needles 11 of the feeding rotors 7 and 8 are reliably supported, the connecting portion B is pulled in a direction parallel to the feeding direction and the separation line is It separates at B' to become individual paper tubes A'. The individually separated paper tubes A' are dropped into the field through seedling drop tubes 32 provided below the separating rotors 12 and 13 and are planted.

In this way, this invention has a configuration in which a large number of support needles are provided on each of a pair of separating rotating bodies and a pair of feeding rotating bodies, and the rotating direction is set parallel to change the circumferential speed. Even in a continuous paper tube assembly connected at a connecting part, the tensile force in the parallel direction can be exerted 100% by always supporting the paper tubes reliably, making it possible to separate them into individual paper tubes.
