テープカートリツジにおいて、上下分割式のカー
トリツジ用ケースをプラスチツクの射出成形によ
つて製造する方法に係り、射出成形後に成形品を
金型から抜出す際に生じがちなケースの部分的な
割れを確実に防止できるようにすることを目的と
する。

出し可能なスタンバイ状態になる形態になつてい

とくに、この種のカートリツジケースでは前面
側に立壁が集中し、かつ高い精度が要求されるの
で、射出成形時の素材注入ゲートが前面側に設け
られる傾向にあるが、このゲート付近は当然のこ
とながら射出圧力が他の部分よりも高くて金型内
面に対する接着度も強くなるので離型性が悪い。
もちろん、素材注入ゲートとは無関係に他の立壁
群が密集する箇所も離型性が低下しやすい。こう
いつた離型性の悪いところにはそれに合わせてノ
ツクピンの数を多く配置することになるが、それ
でもなおケースに部分的な割れが生じることを皆
無にできないのが現状である。

圧すると同時に、段付きノツクピン15において
はその段18で前壁6の上端面を押圧し、深い成
形空間の奥端から押出し作用を与えるので、この
箇所での離型性が悪くても割れがなく確実に押出
される。

から立壁6を抜出す際の割れ防止に有効である。
とくに、段付きノツクピン15は立壁6の端面を
押圧するのみならず、段18より先端側の外側面
19で立壁6の内面を支持し、かつピン先端面で
主壁5の内面を支持したままで該主壁内面を同時
に押圧作用するので、単に立壁6の端面のみを小
径のノツクピンで押圧する場合に予想される立壁
端面への応力集中に因る深い押圧跡の発生もな
い。

製造するに際して、主壁5の内面および立壁群を
成形する第1金型16と、主壁5の外面を成形す
る第2金型17と、第1金型16側に装備される
成形品抜出し用のノツクピン14,15群とを備
えており、これらノツクピン14,15群のうち
の選ばれたノツクピン15は先端側の外周部分に
段18が形成されていて段18よりも先端側の外
側面19が選ばれた立壁6の内面の一部に対する
成形面になるとともに、段18が該立壁6の端面
の一部に対する成形面になるものとし、両金型1
6,17間の成形空間にプラスチツク素材を射出
して冷却固化させたのち両金型16,17を分離
し、次にノツクピン14,15群を突出作動させ
て成形品を第1金型16から抜出すときに、段付
きノツクピン15の先端面で主壁5の内面を押圧
すると同時に該段18で立壁6の端面を押圧する
ようにしたことを特徴とするテープカートリツジ
用ケースの製造方法。 2 段付きノツクピン15が、立壁群の密集部位
