As a conventional printing method of this type, there is a so-called suminagashi method, in which ink is flowed on the surface of water to form a striped pattern, and the printing material is brought into contact with the flow of the striped ink.

However, this method has the disadvantage that it is not possible to print the same pattern on a large number of substrates, and that it cannot print anything other than striped patterns.Furthermore, the striped patterns formed on the water surface are easily affected by waves. Because it will be destroyed,
There was also the disadvantage that printing was troublesome.

For this reason, a printing method has recently been proposed in which a transfer film is pressed onto a printing material using hydraulic pressure, as disclosed in Japanese Patent Application Laid-open No. 51-21911.
This printing method was provided by the inventor.

However, such a printing method using hydraulic pressure requires a method in which a transfer film on which a transfer pattern is printed is floated on a liquid, and then the material to be printed is immersed in the liquid while pressing the floating transfer film against the printing material. Therefore, it is difficult to accurately transfer the transfer pattern of the transfer film to a predetermined position on the printing material, and since the transfer film needs to be removed after transfer, there is a problem that additional processes such as washing and drying are required. Furthermore, since the transfer film is sensitive to the movement of the water surface, there is another problem in that it requires time and effort to manage the liquid during the transfer process.

The method of the present invention will be explained below with reference to the accompanying drawings. In FIG. 1, reference numeral 1 denotes a printing tank in which a large number of thin straight rods 2 are housed closely packed in parallel. This straight bar body 2 forms a movable layer 3 within the printing tank 1, and a receiving surface 3a of this movable layer 3 is formed by a collection of one end surfaces 2a of the straight bar body 2.

The straight bar body 2 is provided with a resistance force imparting means 4 that applies a certain repulsive force to the sliding movement thereof, and by this means, the straight bar body 2 is moved at least to the receiving surface 3a. A resistance force is applied during the retreat movement from the movable layer toward the inside of the movable layer. The value of the resistance force set by this resistance force imparting means differs depending on the embodiment of the present invention, and for example, when transferring the transfer pattern 5 described later using only the pressing force, it is necessary to make it large. If the transfer pattern 5 is transferred while being melted by heat, it may be small.

Therefore, as a resistance force imparting means, the above-mentioned straight bar body 2
Alternatively, as shown in FIG. 1, the cross-sectional shape of the movable layer 3 may be made rectangular to increase the frictional force between them. Alternatively, as shown in FIG. It may be extended to the back surface 3b on the opposite side.

The means for printing this transfer pattern 5 is arbitrary, but for example, a printing plate 6 of screen printing is used on the receiving surface 3a.
It is also possible to superimpose it on top and rub it with the printing roller 7 as shown by the arrow a.

After the printing of the transfer pattern 5 is completed, the printing material 8 is pressed against the receiving surface 3a of the movable layer 3 and is press-fitted into the movable layer 3, as shown in FIG.

When the printing material 8 is immersed into the movable layer 3 in this way, the receiving surface 3a of the movable layer 3 is deformed along the curved surface of the printing material 8, so that the transfer pattern 5 printed on the receiving surface 3a is transferred to the printing material 8. transferred to the outer surface.

In order to improve this transfer effect, it is necessary to reduce the diameter of the straight rod 2 or to make the end surface 2a deformable, for example, as shown in FIG.

On the back surface 3b of the movable layer 3, as shown in FIG.
A frame 9 for preventing deformation of the movable layer 3 may be provided, and this frame 9 is moved into and out of the printing tank 1 and is brought into contact with the movable layer 3 as shown by the solid line in FIG. 1 when printing the transfer pattern 5. Also, if the transfer pattern 5 is moved back as shown by the chain line in FIG. 1 during transfer, the transfer pattern 5 can be clearly printed.

For this purpose, one printing tank 1 may be cleaned after each transfer, but as shown in FIG. If it is designed so that the printing section 12 is reached through the section 10 and the drying section 11, there is an advantage that continuous operation becomes possible.

The printing tank 1 is normally opened in the vertical direction as in the embodiment, but in some cases it may be opened in the horizontal direction. In this case, the resistance force of the straight bar 2 is small. There is an advantage that the straight rod body 2 does not fall off even when the straight rod body 2 is used.

Since the method of the present invention is as described above, it is possible to print the same pattern on the curved surfaces of a large number of printing materials.
There is the advantage that desired patterns and characters can be printed, and furthermore, since the movable layer 3 is deformed only by the appearance and retraction of the straight rod 2, the movable layer 3 can be restored easily and quickly. , Therefore, there is an effect that printing work is easy.

Furthermore, in the method of the present invention, the transfer pattern 5 is directly printed on the receiving surface 3a in a stationary state, and then transferred by deformation of the movable layer 3 due to the pressure of the printing medium 8. Compared to printing methods, printing misalignment due to floating transfer film,
There is an effect that there is no problem such as the trouble of liquid management and the trouble of removing the transfer film from the printing material.
