Conventionally, this type of soundproofing material has been made by forming a strip-like material with a predetermined thickness from soft polyurethane foam, rolling the material into a cylindrical shape, temporarily fixing both ends with adhesive tape, and then attaching it to a staple. The product was manufactured by fixing it in several places. It is extremely troublesome to roll up the strip material one by one and join the ends with adhesive tape and staples, and the joining work has to be done manually, which makes it difficult to mass-produce. It was hot. In addition, since the product is cylindrical, it is extremely inconvenient to package and store it as is.For this reason, in the past, the product was first formed into a cylindrical shape and then flattened using a press to make it suitable for packaging and storage. This requires extra labor such as the need to process the product into a shape, which is a factor that significantly increases the cost of the product.

In view of these points, the present invention eliminates the need for joining as in the past, has a simple structure, can be mass-produced extremely easily, greatly reduces product costs, and can be used as a flat plate when not in use. To obtain a sound insulating body for motors, etc., which can be efficiently packed and stored without taking up much space in a shape, can be easily attached to a motor etc. by forming it into a predetermined cylindrical shape when in use, and has a high sound absorption effect. It is something.

In the present invention, a slit having a predetermined length in the width direction and penetrating in the longitudinal direction is provided in the center part in the thickness direction of a plate-shaped material made of a soundproofing material with appropriate elasticity and sound absorption properties such as soft polyurethane foam. This is a soundproofing body into which a motor or the like is fitted by opening the slit, and is characterized in that a plurality of longitudinal grooves are formed on the outer peripheral surface of the soundproofing body.

以下、本考案の実施例を図によつて説明する。 Hereinafter, embodiments of the present invention will be described with reference to the drawings.

Reference numeral 1 designates a soundproofing body, in which a slit 2 having a predetermined length in the width direction penetrates in the longitudinal direction in the central part in the thickness direction of a plate-shaped material made of a soundproofing material having appropriate elasticity and sound absorption properties such as soft polyurethane foam. By forming a wavy uneven surface in the width direction on the outer surface thereof, a plurality of grooves 3 extending in the longitudinal direction are formed at predetermined intervals in the width direction. In addition, when using flexible polyurethane foam as the above-mentioned material, either open cell or closed cell may be used.

When the soundproofing body 1 is not in use, it has a flat plate shape as shown in Figure 1 due to the restoring force of the material itself, but when it is in use, it has a flat plate shape as shown in Figures 2 to 4. If the slit 2 is opened and elastically deformed into a cylindrical shape, and in this state it is fitted onto the motor 5 of a vacuum cleaner 4, the opposing inner surfaces 21 and 22 of the slit 2 will act as a motor due to the restoring force of the material itself. The sound insulating body 1 is fitted and held on the outer circumference of the motor 5 . In addition, 23,2
4 indicates circular holes provided at both ends of the slit 2. In addition, in Fig. 3, 6 is a suction port, 7 is a dust collection chamber, and 8 is a suction port.
is a dust suction fan connected to the motor 5.

When the soundproof body 1 is fitted onto the motor 5, noise from the motor 5 is absorbed by the soundproof body 1. That is, if the material is a soft polyurethane foam with open cells, the noise is absorbed while passing through the cells, and if the material is a soft polyurethane foam with closed cells, a large sound absorption effect can be exhibited. In this way, the material exhibits a sound-absorbing effect that matches its own characteristics. Furthermore, according to this soundproofing body 1, the exhaust passage of the vacuum cleaner 4 is formed by the many grooves 3 provided on the surface thereof, and the exhaust flow (mainly swirling flow) of the vacuum cleaner 4 is directed to the inner wall of the main body of the vacuum cleaner 4. When passing between the soundproof body 1 and the exhaust flow, the flow is rectified by the grooves 3, and the noise of the exhaust flow is reflected and resonated within each groove 3, and the sound is absorbed, thereby reducing the noise of the motor 5. It can exhibit a soundproofing effect against both noise and exhaust flow noise.

In the above embodiment, the slit 2 is opened and the motor 5 is fitted onto the motor 5. However, after opening the slit 2 as shown in FIG. Motor 5
It may be fitted externally. In this case, by opening the slit 2 and turning the front and back sides, the soundproofing body 1 initially bites inward at both ends and is elastically deformed into a gourd shape, but after that, when it is fitted onto the motor 5, The groove 3 is elastically deformed into a cylindrical shape and fitted along the outer circumferential surface of the motor 5, and a tunnel-shaped space is formed between the groove 3 located on the inner circumferential surface (original outer surface) and the outer circumferential surface of the motor 5. be done. According to this state of use, the exhaust flow of the vacuum cleaner passes through the groove 3, that is, the tunnel-shaped space, and a synergistic effect is produced between the soundproofing effect due to the rectification of the exhaust flow and the soundproofing effect due to the characteristics of the material itself. This provides a very high soundproofing effect, and the exhaust flow also provides a cooling effect for the motor 5.

By the way, the soundproofing body 1 may be formed by forming the slits 2 after each piece is foam-molded into a predetermined external shape, or may be formed by cutting a flat plate-shaped material one by one. As shown in the figure, a thick plate-shaped base material A is cut using a plurality of flat cutting blades (not shown) and a wave-shaped cutting blade (not shown) to create a soundproofing body.
By molding, a plurality of soundproof bodies 1 can be molded at once, and mass productivity can be greatly improved, yields can also be improved, and costs can be significantly reduced.

Furthermore, if the circular holes 23, 24 or V-slits (not shown) are provided at both ends of the slit 2 and the ends are treated during the above molding, the sound insulator 1 can be prevented from tearing from both ends of the slit 2. It can definitely be prevented. However, if the thickness of the soundproofing body 1 near both ends of the slit 2 is sufficiently increased, or the strength of the material itself is increased, accidental tearing at both ends of the slit 2 can be prevented, so the above-mentioned end treatment is not necessarily necessary. There is no need to apply it.

In the above embodiment, the outer surface of the soundproof body 1 is formed into a wavy uneven surface to form the grooves 3, but grooves having a V-shaped cross section may be formed at predetermined intervals on the outer surface. Furthermore, the above-mentioned grooves do not necessarily have to be opened with a predetermined width at the time of molding, and as shown in FIG. , cut groove 3a when not in use
is closed, and when in use, by opening the central slit 2 and fitting this soundproofing body 1a onto the motor 5, the soundproofing body 1a is curved into a cylindrical shape, and the kerf 3a is shaped like a V.
It may be opened in a shape.

As mentioned above, according to the present invention, it is only necessary to provide a slit in the center of the plate-shaped material and grooves on the surface.
Its structure is extremely simple, and there is no need to join each time as in the past, and it can be manufactured extremely easily by just cutting, making it suitable for mass production and allowing for significant cost reductions. In addition, since it is in a plate shape when not in use, there is no need to press it each time after production, making it convenient to handle and allowing for very compact packaging and storage.

In particular, according to the present invention, since the grooves are provided on the surface, in addition to the soundproofing effect due to the characteristics of the material itself,
It can also exhibit soundproofing effects such as sound reflection within the grooves and sound absorption through resonance, making it an extremely excellent soundproofing effect.
