[Detailed description of the invention] This invention relates to the improvement of a soundproofing body that is used by being fitted over noise sources such as household electrical appliances such as vacuum cleaners, mixers, and air conditioners, and motors of various industrial machines. be.

Traditionally, this type of soundproofing body was manufactured by rolling a single strip of soft polyurethane foam into a cylindrical shape, temporarily securing both ends with adhesive tape, and then securing it in several places with staples. After that, it was pressed into a flat shape for convenient packaging and storage. As a result, it was very troublesome to manufacture, was not suitable for mass production, and had the drawbacks of high costs.

In addition, there are two types of soft polyurethane foam used as this type of soundproofing material: open cell and closed cell.In general, open cell foam has low material cost but low sound absorption, while closed cell foam has low material cost. Although it is expensive, it has the characteristic of having high sound absorption properties. Moreover, even if the cells are open cells or closed cells, the sound absorption properties can be increased by increasing the cell density, but this increases the material cost. In this way, there is a correlation between sound absorption properties and material costs, and materials with high sound absorption properties also have high material costs. Therefore, when the soundproof body is molded from a single material as in the past, there is a problem in that if the sound absorption effect is to be improved, the material cost will inevitably increase, resulting in a significant cost increase.

In view of the above circumstances, the present invention does not require bonding as in the past, has a simple structure, and can be easily mass-produced.
In addition, when not in use, it has a flat plate shape and can be efficiently packed and stored without taking up much space, and when in use, it can be shaped into a tube and can be easily attached to a motor, etc. Moreover, it has a high soundproofing effect while keeping material costs as low as possible. The purpose is to obtain a soundproof body.

The present invention consists of a plate-like material made of soft polyurethane foam, etc., which has moderate elasticity and sound absorption properties, and a plate-shaped material made of soft polyurethane foam, etc., which has moderate elasticity and high sound absorption properties, so as to be continuous in the longitudinal direction. They are joined together to form a soundproofing body, and a slit is provided in the central part of the soundproofing body in the thickness direction, having a predetermined length in the width direction and penetrating in the longitudinal direction, so that the slit can be opened and fitted onto a motor, etc. It is characterized by having the following configuration.

以下、本考案の実施例を図によつて説明する。 Hereinafter, embodiments of the present invention will be described with reference to the drawings.

Reference numeral 1 denotes a soundproofing body, in which plate-shaped materials 2 and 3 made of a soundproofing material having appropriate elasticity and sound absorption properties are butted against each other at their ends so as to be continuous in the longitudinal direction, and then bonded with an adhesive, and then bonded in the thickness direction. A slit 4 having a predetermined length in the width direction and penetrating in the longitudinal direction is provided in the center. In this case, one of the materials 2 is a general open-cell soft polyurethane foam that is cheap in material cost, and the other material 3 is a closed-cell soft polyurethane foam that is slightly more expensive than the material 2 but has high sound absorption properties. Use form.

When not in use, the soundproofing body 1 constructed as described above has a flat plate shape as shown in Fig. 1 due to the restoring force of each of the materials 2 and 3, and is not bulky, making it convenient for packaging and storage. It's summery. Next, when the material is used, the slit 4 is opened to elastically deform it into a cylindrical shape as shown in FIGS. , 3, the opposing surfaces 41, 42 of the slit 4 come into close contact with the outer circumferential surface of the motor 6, and the sound insulator 1 is fitted and held on the outer circumference of the motor 6. In this case, since the motor 6 is equipped with brushes and a cooling fan (not shown) in the rear half, the rear half is louder than the front half. Therefore, the soundproof body 1 is fitted onto the motor 6 so that the highly sound-absorbing material 3 is located in the rear half of the motor 6. In addition, in FIG. 3, 7 is a suction port, 8 is a dust collection chamber, and 9 is a dust collection fan connected to the motor 6.

If the soundproof body 1 is fitted onto the motor 6 in this way,
In the front half of the motor, which has relatively low noise, the noise generated from the front half of the motor is absorbed by a general material 2 with appropriate sound absorption properties, and in the rear half of the motor, the material 3 with high sound absorption properties is used to absorb the noise generated from the front half of the motor. The materials 2 and 3 absorb the large noise generated by the motor, and the sound-absorbing action of the materials 2 and 3 according to the noise of the motor makes it possible to achieve an efficient soundproofing effect.

Furthermore, according to this soundproofing body 1, when the soundproofing body 1 is installed, the highly sound-absorbing material 3 is located on the outer periphery of the rear half of the motor 6, which is noisy.
Due to its sound absorbing effect, loud noises can be reduced accurately. In this case, instead of forming the entire soundproofing body 1 from the highly sound-absorbing material 3,
In a range shorter than the total length l 1 of the soundproofing body 1, the highly sound absorbing material 3 is placed only in the rear half of the motor where the noise is high, and the material 3 with high sound absorption properties is placed in the front half of the motor where the noise is relatively low. Since Material 2 is used, the overall material cost can be significantly reduced.

The soundproofing body 1 may be formed by gluing the materials 2 and 3 one by one and then forming a slit 4, but as shown in FIG. Materials 2 and 3 are layered and glued together with a thickness corresponding to l 2 and l 3 and a length L several times the product thickness t 1 , and then cut with multiple cutting blades to form a soundproofing material. 1, multiple soundproof bodies 1 can be formed.
can be molded all at once, greatly improving mass productivity and significantly reducing costs.

Furthermore, if the ends of the slit 4 are treated by providing circular holes 43, 44 or V-slits (not shown) at both ends of the slit 4 during the above-mentioned molding process, the sound insulator 1 can be accidentally removed from both ends of the slit 4. It can prevent tearing.

In the above embodiment, the soundproofing body 1 was constructed by combining the open-cell material 2 with appropriate sound absorption properties and the closed-cell material 3 with high sound absorption properties. It may be configured by combining bubbles with different cell densities, that is, those with low and high sound absorbing properties, or it may be configured by combining three or more types of materials with different sound absorbing properties.

As explained above, according to the present invention, the structure is simple and easy to manufacture, and mass productivity can be improved. In addition, since it is flat when not in use, it is convenient to handle and can be packed very compactly.
It can be stored, and when in use, the slit is opened so that a motor etc. can be easily fitted and held there, and a predetermined soundproofing effect can be achieved.

In particular, in this invention, the soundproof body is constructed by combining a material with general sound absorption properties and a material with high sound absorption properties, so it is not possible to use only materials with general sound absorption properties as in the past. It can be constructed thinner than other soundproofing bodies, exhibits efficient sound-absorbing action, has a high soundproofing effect, and reduces the amount of highly sound-absorbing material used to reduce material costs. Together with improvement, it is possible to reduce the cost of the product.
