(Prior art) Conventionally, a combustion chamber housing a long gas burner and a convection fan are provided in a heater body equipped with a warm air outlet, and a convection fan is provided on one side between the combustion chamber and a cover plate outside the combustion chamber. A gas hot air heater provided with a hot air passage connected to the combustion chamber and connected to the convection fan on the other side is disclosed, for example, in Japanese Utility Model Application No. 57-73541. It is common practice to provide electrodes. In such a device, due to its construction, the ignition electrode must be placed across the hot air path.

However, when installing the ignition electrode in such a position,
Dust and the like contained in the hot air may adhere to the hot air, resulting in the inconvenience that current leakage is likely to occur. Therefore, it is necessary to provide the ignition electrode with a heat-resistant leak-preventing tube made of silicone rubber or the like. However, even though this leak prevention tube is heat resistant, it will inevitably deteriorate if exposed to high temperature heat for a long period of time.

(Problems to be solved by the invention) In view of the current situation, the present invention prevents the ignition electrode from being exposed to high temperature heat as much as possible, and cools it as much as possible to prevent the tube from being exposed to the ignition electrode. The purpose is to obtain a hot air heater that can prevent deterioration.

(Means for Solving the Problems) The present invention provides a combustion chamber housing a gas burner or other burner and a convection fan in a heater body equipped with an intake port and a hot air outlet. A hot air passage is provided between the outer cover plate and the combustion chamber on one side and the convection fan on the other side, and an ignition electrode provided with a leak tube is connected to the cover plate 4.
In the case where the burner is exposed to the hot air passage through the cover plate, a vent is provided in the ignition electrode penetration part of the cover plate, and a heat shield is provided to cover the side of the ignition electrode facing the hot air flow. It is provided within the hot air passage.

(Example) An example of implementing the present invention will be explained with reference to the attached drawings.
In the drawing, 1 is a heater main body having an air supply port 1a on the upper back and a warm air outlet 1b on the lower front, 2 is a combustion chamber provided in the combustor main body 1, and 3 is the combustion chamber 2.
4 is a cover plate provided to cover the front and upper surfaces of the combustion chamber 2; 5 is a cover plate interposed between the cover plate 4 and the combustion chamber 2; 2 and the convection fan 3 at the lower end.
A hot air passage 6 is connected to the intake section 3a of the combustion chamber 2.
The gas burner 6 is provided with an air supply port 6b facing the gas nozzle 6a located outside the combustion chamber 2, and the gas burner 6 has an air supply port 6b facing the gas nozzle 6a located outside the combustion chamber 2. According to the driving rotation, negative pressure acts on the combustion surface 6c of the gas burner 6 through the hot air passage 5, and primary air is supplied to the gas burner 6 due to the pressure difference between this and the air supply port 6b.

The present invention provides an ignition electrode 7 for the burner 6 of such a heater.
In order to face the ignition electrode 7, the ignition electrode 7 is installed so as to pass through the cover plate 4 and cross the hot air passage 5, and an elliptical shape with a length in the vertical direction is attached to the penetration part of the ignition electrode 7 of the cover plate 4. A ventilation hole 8 is provided, and a horseshoe-shaped heat shield 9 is provided in the hot air passage 5 to cover the side of the ignition electrode 7 facing the hot air flow. It is provided on a plate 10 which is detachable from the plate 4.

Note that the discharge electrode 7 includes a discharge needle 7a, a cord 7b, and a connecting portion 7 that connects them, as shown in FIG.
The connecting portion 7c is provided with a leak prevention tube 7d, and the hot air passage 5 is connected to the connecting portion 7c.
I decided to face it. Furthermore, the above-mentioned gas burner 6 is
The mixing pipe 6d connected to the air supply port 6b faces into the distribution chamber 6e, and the mixing pipe 6d is connected to the distribution chamber 6e.
A guide plate 6f is provided opposite the inner end of the combustion chamber, and the air-fuel mixture supplied from the gas nozzle 6a and mixed with the primary air is most likely to be ejected from the combustion surface 6c located directly above the guide plate 6f. For this reason, in the illustrated example, as described above, the ignition electrode 7 is made to pass through the cover plate 4 and across the hot air passage 5 to face the combustion surface 6c located on the upper surface of the guide plate 6f to ignite the explosion. I made it possible to ignite the fire stably without any problems.

(Function) According to this machine, hot air immediately after combustion flows through the hot air passage 5, but at least the leak prevention tube 7c provided in the ignition electrode 7 prevents the hot air from flowing through the heat shield 9. Direct contact can be prevented, and the flow of the hot air generates a flow of external air from the vent 8 toward the ignition electrode 7 to cool the ignition electrode 7.

(Effects) According to the present invention, a vent 8 is provided in the ignition electrode penetration portion of the cover plate 4, and a heat shield 9 is provided in the hot air passageway to cover the side of the ignition electrode that faces the flow of hot air. This will prevent the leak prevention tube provided on the ignition electrode from becoming too hot as much as possible.
This has the effect of preventing the leak prevention tube from deteriorating as much as possible.
