(Problems to be Solved by the Invention) When the fabric impregnated with the processing liquid moves through the processing equipment, the above fabric meanderes slightly due to various factors, so it is difficult for each roller after the expander roller to The treatment liquid adhered irregularly over an area slightly wider than the width of the fabric, and wiping with the guiding cloth was incomplete. In particular, when a guiding cloth narrower than the above-mentioned cloth is used, the treatment liquid adheres to both the left and right sides of the rollers, and is left behind on each of the above-mentioned rollers without being wiped off. Therefore, when the fabric after the lot change passes, the treatment liquid of the preceding lot left on the roller is transferred to the fabric of the subsequent lot, resulting in a problem that the fabric of the subsequent lot is stained.
Attempts have been made to use a wide-width guide cloth, but in this case, a guide cloth that is wider than the fabric to be processed must always be prepared, which is extremely troublesome.

(Conventional) When the front end of the guiding cloth is detected by the cloth seam detection device, the cloth swinging device that can make the running cloth meander from side to side starts operating, so the guiding cloth starts meandering from side to side. do. Therefore, each roller from the pad to the outlet of the hot air drying device is wiped over a wide area with the above-mentioned guiding cloth, and dirt attached to these rollers is removed over a wide area. Then, when the rear end of the guiding cloth is detected by the cloth seam detection device,
Since the operation of the swinging device is stopped, the fabric following the guide fabric is transferred without meandering. Thus, cleaning of the pad and liquid replacement are performed in the same manner as in the past, from when the joint at the front end of the guide cloth is detected until when the joint at the rear end is detected.
