ドラムと磁気テープの相対速度を制御するように
した磁気記録装置のテープスピード制御装置にお
いて、 上記回転ドラムの回転速度を検出してその検出
速度に対応する値を出力するドラム周期検出手段
と、回転ドラムの回転速度として外部から設定さ
れる一定値に対応する値を出力する設定速度生成
手段と、上記ドラム周期検出手段の出力値と上記
設定速度生成手段の出力値とを比較して、上記回
転ドラムの回転速度と上記設定速度生成手段に設
定された回転速度との差を出力する比較手段とを
備え、 上記比較手段が出力する差に応じて上記リール
サーボによりして磁気テープを走行させるリール
の回転速度を制御することを特徴とするテープス
