【考案の詳細な説明】 本考案は往復動内燃機関のピストンリングの性
能改善に関する。

て、一般によく使用されているリング合い口部形
状としては第1図aに示す直角合い口、第1図b

等のものがある。この様な合い口形状を有するリ
ングを一般合い口形リングとよぶ。なお、01は
ピストンリング、02は合い口〓間である。他
方、シリンダとピストンとの間の気密保持を十分
なものにするために、リングの合い口形状を第2
図a,bのようにしたものがある。このような合
い口部からのガスの下部への吹き抜けの殆んど生
じない合い口形状を有するものをガスタイト形リ
ングとよぶ。第2図a,bは、一方の合い口部の
内周側に設けられリング下面に達する側壁03を
設けた段付合い口を示す。これら各形のリングは
いずれも周知である。

面を傾斜させた合い口を形成したことである。
