In the insulators of conventional power transmission line towers, no measures have been taken to remove rainwater and snowmelt water that flow down to the insulators through the main pillar members and arm members. Therefore, especially in areas affected by salt-containing rain and snow, such as coastal areas, cold regions, and extremely cold periods, icicles and ice blocks often form on the insulator, causing electrical problems. It was something I did.

In Figures 3 and 4, the other parts except the inner L-shaped member 3 are the same as those in Figures 1 and 2 above, that is, the arm member 1, the projecting piece 2
The connection between the outer L-shaped member 2 and the inner L-shaped member 3 using the outer L-shaped member 2 having a diameter a, the caulking material 4, and the bolt nut 5 is constructed in the same manner as in Figs. A diagonal bent portion 3a is formed at the bottom of the L-shaped member 3, and a portion near the top of the rain gutter 6 is fixed to this diagonal bent portion 3a in a downward diagonal manner with a bolt nut 7. 6 is extended below the desired length to prevent rainwater from flowing down onto the insulator which may be located below. Note that 8 indicates caulking material provided on one side of the arm 1 and the inner L-shaped member 3 in the upward direction of the arm 1.

In FIGS. 5 and 6, 9 is an angle-shaped main pillar member, 10 is an outer L-shaped member consisting of a hanging plate portion 10a and a swash plate portion 10b, and 11 is a hanging plate portion 11a and a swash plate portion 1.
1b, the hanging plate part 1 is shown.
0a and 11a are attached to the outside and inside of the main pillar material 9 via a caulking material 12, and are fastened together with bolts and nuts 13. Also, the main pillar material 9 and the hanging plate part 1
Due to the related structure of 0b and 11b, a groove is formed between the main pillar member 9 and the hanging plate portions 10b and 11b, that is, a function similar to that of a rain gutter is obtained. Therefore, the outer L-shaped member 10 and the inner L-shaped member 11
The both end portions 10c and 11c of the main column 9 extend outwardly from the width of the main column 9 and are slightly inclined downward.

Next, to explain the effect, in the ones shown in FIGS. 1, 2, 3, and 4, rainwater, melted snow water, snowflakes, etc. flowing down from above the arm member 1 are transferred to the projecting piece 2.
a prevents the arm member 1 from moving toward the distal end, and also allows the arm member 1 to flow down into the air via the lower part of the protruding piece 2a. ), and in the ones shown in FIGS. 3 and 4, it is flowed down into the air through the rain gutter 6. Next, in FIGS. 5 and 6, rainwater, etc. flowing down from the upper part of the main pillar 9 is transferred to the outer L-shaped member 10 and the inner L-shaped member 10.
It is received by the swash plate portions 10b and 11b that constitute the profile 11, and is flown down into the air from there via both end portions 10c and 11c.
