A single knitted fabric with an intarsia pattern (a knitted fabric with a jiyaguard pattern without peeling), for example, as shown in Fig. 1, a square knitted section 1 of color A and a square knitted section 2 of color B
When knitting a day/night pattern in which the A color square knitted section 1 and the B color square knitted section 2 are arranged alternately, conventionally, the A color square knitted section 1 and the B color square knitted section 2 are arranged on the front side of the A color yarn and the front side of the B color yarn, respectively. At the same time, in the rectangular knitting section 1 of color A, the yarn of color B is welted and brought out on the back side, and the yarn of color B is intermittently aligned with the yarn of color A and knitted. In the B-color square knitting section 2, the A-color yarn is welted and brought out on the back side, and is intermittently knitted by being aligned with the B-color yarn, thereby forming a square. This prevents the knitted fabric from separating to the left and right at the boundary between the knitting sections 1 and 2, and also prevents the threads hidden on the back side from floating long and getting caught on utensils.

However, in the above conventional method, the color A yarn forming the A color rectangular knitted portion 1 contains the B color yarn, and the B color yarn forming the B color rectangular knitted portion 2 contains the B color yarn. Since the yarns of color A are intermittently aligned, the yarns of color B are in the rectangular knitting section 1 of color A.
Furthermore, the color A threads are exposed in the B color rectangular knitted portion 2 in a scattered manner, and as a result, the rectangular knitted portions 1 and 2 have a muddy color tone.
In addition, since it is knitted in a double structure of A-color threads and B-color threads, the knitted fabric becomes thick and heavy.Furthermore, since the threads on the back side run almost linearly, the elasticity of the knitted fabric is reduced. It had the disadvantage of being lost. In addition, in manual flat knitting machines for home use, the two types of threads are connected by hand at the boundary between the left and right patterns, and in flat knitting machines for thick yarns of 12 gauge or less, such as sweater knitting machines. The entire width is divided into the required number of sections, and each section is knitted with different colored threads going back and forth.
By aligning the two types of yarn at the boundary of the above sections to form a common wale, or by knitting the two types of yarn alternately and forming the boundary in a staggered manner, it is possible to avoid skipping. It is known to produce knitted fabrics with intarsia patterns, but all of these methods require a single yarn carrier to be moved back and forth from side to side for 10 minutes.
Although it is possible with a flat knitting machine for coarsely knitting yarns that are thicker than the yarn count, it has a large number of yarn feeders, ranging from 5 to more than 100, and densely knits yarns that are thinner than yarn count 10. It cannot be used with a high gauge single circular knitting machine of 14 gauge or higher, as described above, by running one thread (back thread) on the back side and partially attaching it to the other thread (front thread). It had to be connected.

Further, a second invention relates to a method for manufacturing the knitted fabric of the first invention, which uses a single circular knitting machine of 14 gauge or larger equipped with a large number of yarn feeders to vary the appearance such as color, gloss, thickness, etc. When knitting a single knitted fabric with an intarsia pattern by supplying two or more types of yarns, other yarns floating on the back side of a knitting section consisting of the front stitch of one type of yarn are knitted with the above-mentioned front stitch. The knitting is performed by knitting all the wales of the knitting section without skipping the wrong side, and knitting by cross-knitting yarns other than the other yarns in multiple wales adjacent to the knitting section, and then knitting the back side of the above knitting section. This is a method for producing an intarsia pattern knitted fabric, which is characterized by removing skipped threads.

In this first embodiment, the A-color yarn 3a is interposed between the A-color knitted section 3 in which the A-color yarn 3a forms the front stitch and the B-color knitted section 4 in which the B-color yarn 4a forms the front stitch. A 4-way connecting part 5 alternately knitted with B color yarn 4a is interposed. That is, the A-color yarn 3a and the B-color yarn 4a are fed alternately in one course, and in the A-color knitting section 3 where the A-color yarn 3a forms the front side, the B-color yarn 4a is welted to form the back side. The B color yarn 4a is tacked, knitted, welted, knitted in the order of tuck, knit, welted and knitted in the next right joining section 5, and then knitted continuously to form the B color knitting section. form 4. On the other hand, A color knitting section 3
The A-color yarn 3a forming the front stitch is knitted, welted, knitted, and tucked in the order of left to right in the binding section 5, and then continuously welted to form the B-color yarn 4a. B color knitting section 4 forming
Make the back fly over the entire back side of the wale. After the knitting is completed, the back jump portion 3b of the A-color yarn 3a and the back jump portion 4b of the B-color yarn 4a are each cut off by a shearing machine. Note that point P in the figure indicates the cutting section.

In the knitted fabric obtained by the above method, the A-color knitted section 3 forms surface stitches using only the A-color yarn 3a, and the B-color knitted section 4 forms surface stitches using only the B-color thread 4a. Therefore, a clear color tone is obtained without mixing color B in the A color knitted part 3 or color A mixed in the B color knitted part 4, and both maintain the original elasticity of the knitted fabric. It has a single layer structure and is thin. 4 between the A color knitting section 3 and the B color knitting section 4
Since the connecting part 5 of the wale is interposed to sandwich and connect the A-color yarn 3a and the B-color yarn 4a, the knitted fabric does not separate left and right. In this first embodiment, thin vertical stripes appear because wales made of only the A-color yarn 3a and wales made only of the B-color yarn 4a are arranged alternately in the binding portion 5.

In the second embodiment shown in FIG. 4, only the structure of the connecting portion 5 of the first embodiment is changed. That is, the binding part 5 is made of two wales, and the binding part 5 is plated with A color yarn 3a and B color yarn 4a, and in this case, the binding strength of the binding part is strong. Therefore, the number of wales in the connecting portion 5 can be reduced compared to the first embodiment. In addition, when the two yarns 3a, 4a are aligned to knit the joint part 5, a tension difference is applied to the two yarns 3a, 4a so that one yarn is placed under the other yarn. By hiding it in the fabric, it becomes a completely reversible structure, and in this case, no vertical stripes are formed at the joint.

In the third embodiment shown in FIG. 5, a B-color knitted part 4 in which a face stitch is formed of B-color yarn 4a also serves as a binding part 5. That is, the A-color yarn 3a, which has formed the face stitch in the A-color knitting section 3, is connected to the B-color yarn 4a in the B-color knitting section 4 by alternately repeating tucks and welts over five wells. The B color yarn 4a is continuously welted in the A color knitting section 3 to form a back jump yarn 4b, and this back jump yarn 4b is cut off. In this third embodiment, A color yarn 3a
Since it is continuous across all the wales, it has great strength against tearing from side to side. On the other hand, the A-color threads 3a run linearly on the back side of the B-color knitted portion 4, causing the B-color knitted portion 4 to lose its elasticity and the sharpness of the B-color knitted portion 4 to deteriorate.

The above examples all represent vertical stripes, but by using a single circular knitting machine equipped with a Jiyaguard patterning device and a colored thread switching device, it is possible to create not only vertical stripes but also various patterns. Can be organized. For example, the day and night pattern shown in FIG. 1 can be formed by replacing the threads 3a and 4a every predetermined course. Further, the connecting portion 5 may be inclined or curved, and any pattern can be formed by using the A color yarn 3 as the base yarn and the B color yarn 4 as the pattern yarn. Moreover, although the above-mentioned first to fourth embodiments are examples in which two types of threads 3a and 4a are used, three or more types of threads may be used.
It goes without saying that the number of wales in the connecting portion 5 can be increased or decreased. Furthermore, when manufacturing clothing,
Attachment parts other than the body and sleeves are placed on the joint part 5 of the fabric,
For example, by installing attached parts with a design such as a pocket part, a front part, etc., it is possible to cover up the joints between these parts, the body part, and the sleeve part.
Furthermore, depending on the sewing specifications, it is possible to completely prevent separation of the left and right sides.

As explained above, the present invention allows other yarns to be floated on the back side of a knitted part formed by the front side of a type of yarn without knitting the other yarns on the front side. Since the yarn is skipped across all the wales in the knitting section, and the skipped yarn is removed after knitting, a thin yarn of count 10 or higher is used using a single circular knitting machine with 5 stitches or more and a gauge of 14 or higher. Even when knitting, a single knitted fabric with an intarsia pattern can be easily obtained. Since the other yarns mentioned above, which are skipped on the back side of the knitting section, are joined with yarns other than the above other yarns in the adjacent part of the knitting section by cross-knitting, it is necessary to have a dense weave of 14 gauge or more. In addition, when the skipped yarns are removed, no runs occur in the knitted fabric, and when sewn, thin intarsia patterned clothing, which has not been previously available, can be obtained.
