In general, door bodies with windows for construction such as doors and sliding doors have concave glass holding grooves around the four sides of the window to attach glass plates. At least one side of the glass plate was provided with a removable rib member on the inside so that the glass plate could be attached and detached.

However, in the case of edge members using steel plates, it is difficult to bend the steel plates in a complicated manner to form removable joints, so conventional ones use fixing devices such as screws. Although it was attached to the door body, the screw head was exposed to the outside, spoiling the design. Therefore, in order to make this as inconspicuous as possible, we try to fix the screws within the narrow width between the glass plate of the enclosed opening that makes up the window and the inner plate. Not only is it cumbersome to hold the screwdriver vertically within the width of the width, but it also impairs work efficiency. It requires a lot of man-hours for processing such as tap processing, making production complicated.

On the other hand, in the lower horizontal bar 5, the outer plate 2 extends above the inner plate 3, the extending end side is bent inward, and the extra length is further bent in a direction parallel to the inner plate 3. A supporting piece 5a is formed which is bent in the direction of the face plate 3 and supports the front and lower surfaces of the glass.
A window surrounded by a and 5a is formed.

Reference numeral 7 denotes a glass rim member, and a support piece 8 is formed on the upper part of the glass rim member 7, and fits into the support piece 5a of the outer surface plate 2 in a covering manner from below to support the rear surface of the glass. , the support piece 5a and the support piece 8
The groove for holding the glass is formed by the groove. A surface portion 9 facing the outer surface plate 2 is formed on the inner surface plate 3 side of the support piece 8, and a lower end of the surface portion 9 is bent inward to form a locking portion 10. Further, a locking piece 11 is formed at the upper end of the inner surface plate 3 of the lower horizontal beam 5 to allow the locking portion 10 to engage and disengage. Then, after fitting the support piece 8 to the support piece 5a, the rim member 7
When pushed toward the lower horizontal bar 5, the locking portion 10 locks with the locking piece 11 of the inner surface plate 3, so that the edge member 7 can be easily fixed to the lower horizontal beam 5.

In the above configuration, in order to attach the glass plate to the door body 1, first remove the push-edge member 7 from the lower horizontal bar 5, then insert one side edge of the glass plate into one of the holding grooves 6a, The glass plate is moved and the other side edge is inserted into the other holding groove 6a, and both left and right sides of the glass plate are held by the holding grooves 6a, 6a,
Further, the glass plate is moved to the upper horizontal bar 4 side and the upper end edge is held in the holding groove 4a as in the conventional case. Then, as shown in FIG. 7a, the space created between the lower edge of the glass plate and the support piece 5a of the lower horizontal bar 4 by moving the glass plate toward the upper horizontal bar 4 is made of synthetic resin or the like. Insert the setting block to prevent the glass plate from moving. Next, as shown in Figure b, the support piece 8 of the rim member 7 is inserted below the lower horizontal beam 5, and the support piece 5a is inserted from below.
When the rim member 7 is pressed toward the lower horizontal crosspiece 5, the locking portion 10 of the rim member 7 comes into contact with the inner surface plate 3, so that the surface portion 9 is elastically deformed at the upper part, and the support piece 8 After the support piece 5a is fitted and locked, the locking portion 10 comes into contact with the locking piece 11 of the inner surface plate 3 and is locked, so that the edge member 7 returns to its original shape. In this way, as shown in Figure c, the rim member 7 can be attached to the lower horizontal beam 5 with one touch, and this attachment is stable unless reverse elastic deformation is applied. Here, the lower edge of the glass plate can be held by the concave holding groove formed by the supporting piece 5a and the supporting piece 8, and an elastic material such as synthetic resin is formed in the gap between the holding grooves. When the bead material is pushed in, the support piece 8, which is fitted to the support piece 5a in an enveloping manner from below, is pressed against the inner surface plate 3 side, so that the fit becomes even stronger and the rim member 7 does not come off. do not have. Furthermore, even if the weight of the glass plate is applied to the support piece 8, the locking portion 10 formed at the lower end of the ridge member 7 is locked to the locking piece 11 of the inner surface plate 3, so that the support piece 8 is held in place by the bead. Since the glass plate is pressed against the inner surface plate 3 through the material, the glass plate can be held even more reliably. Therefore, there is no need to use separate fixing tools such as screws to attach the rim member 7, making it possible to streamline the assembly work and reduce the number of man-hours required for machining the member during production. Screw heads etc. are not exposed.

In short, in the present invention, in a structure for attaching a glass rim member to an opening formed in a door body consisting of two face plates facing each other, a glass holding groove into which a glass plate can be attached is located at a bent part of one face plate. and a ridge member, the ridge member having a support piece on the upper part that engages with the bent part from below, and a locking part on the lower part that engages with the locking piece of the other face plate. Since the glass plate is directly attached and removably snap-fitted and straddled between the double-sided plates, the glass plate is pressed and held by the elastic deformation of the rim member, so that it can be firmly held. Therefore,
Since the edge member can be attached to the door body with one touch,
Even if the edge member is made of steel plate, there is no need to perform troublesome fixing work using separate fixing tools such as screws.
The work of attaching the glass plate can be made extremely efficient, and the number of man-hours for machining the member can be reduced since there is no need to drill holes or taps for attaching screws during production. Furthermore, after the glass plate is attached, the screw heads etc. are not exposed to the outside and the appearance can be improved.
