本考案は多数条平行に移送される帯状の金属材
料の両面に付着している洗浄液を払拭する液切り

る多数条の帯材を払拭ロールによつて挾むと各帯
材は横ずれし隣りどうしが重なり合つたりすると
傷を付けるような虞れがあつた。

8a,8bに無端チエン9を巻掛して両払拭ロー
ル5a,5bが同調回転するようにする。一方上
段の払拭ロール6a,6bはその回転軸が上下動
自在な軸受に支持されている。なお11a,11
bは払拭ロール6a,6bの上縁に常接している
補助ロールで該補助ロールは払拭ロール6a,6
bの周面に付随する水膜を払拭する。12は帯材
1の両面に熱風を吹付ける熱風乾燥室、13は熱
風発生用のヒータで、該ヒータによつて加熱され
た熱風を該室12に循環させ帯材1の両面に吹付
け乾燥させる。

の移送に従いその摩擦抵抗で矢印の方向に従動回
転する。そして小突起7が払拭ロール6a,6b
に介在することによつて該払拭ロール6a,6b
は払拭ロール5a,5bから離間して上方に持ち
上げられる。このため瞬間的に払拭ロール5a,
5b,6a,6bによる帯材1の挾着は解除され
帯材1は幅方向に自由に移動し得るようになるの
で該帯材1は横ずれしていてもその張力により正
しい位置に戻り得る。なおこの実施例はこの液切
りロール装置を4a,4bの2組設けることによ
つてより確実に液切りができるようにしている。
そして両払拭ロール5a,5bを無端チエン9に
よつて連繋することによつて両液切りロール装置
4a,4bについて払拭ロールが離間するタイミ
ングが調整できるようにしたのでこの実施例のよ
うに小突起7,7が両払拭ロール5a,5bにつ
いて180度位相が違うように設定すれば離間する
