As is well known, when the tension of a string is weakened, the vibration frequency decreases, and when the tension is increased, the vibration frequency increases, so in the case of electric guitars, the pitch can be adjusted by repeatedly changing the tension of the strings at a rapid rate. By moving it up and down, a special sound effect called a tremolo effect is obtained. Fig. 1 shows an example of this type of tremolo unit mechanism installed in a conventional electric guitar, in which 1 is a string, 2 is a body body in which a storage chamber 3 for storing a balance spring 4 is formed, and 5 is a body body in which a storage chamber 3 for storing a balance spring 4 is formed. It is arranged on the body main body 2 so as to be able to freely rotate in the vertical direction using a rotation fulcrum pin 6 implanted on the body main body 2 as a rotation fulcrum. The bridge body 7 having the string support part 7A on the bridge base 5 can be moved and adjusted by the bridge fixing bolt 8 in the horizontal direction in the figure, that is, in the direction in which the string 1 is stretched. The arrangement is fixed. A rotor 9 is connected to the bridge body 7 so as to be rotatable in the vertical direction by a pin 10, and one end of the string 1 is clamped and fixed between the rotor 9 and a fixed block 11. The fixing block 11 is rotatably attached to the tip of a fixing bolt 13 that is threaded through a screw hole 12 of the rotor 9, and is attached to the rotor 9 via the string 1 by rotating the bolt 13. Pressed. The fixing bolt 13 is a fine inch screw 1 attached to the bridge base 5.
The upward rotation is restricted by the screw 15.
When pushed down by the rotor 9, the rotor 9 rotates clockwise about the pin 10, increasing the tension in the string 1.

The bridge base 5 is held in a slightly floating state from the main body 2 as shown in the figure due to the balance between the total tension of each string 1 and the spring force of the balance spring 4. In this state, the tremolo arm 16 is When it is moved up and down, the above-mentioned balanced state is disrupted and the tension of the string 1 is changed, thereby producing a tremolo effect. String 1 is rotor 9
Since it is held between the bridge base 5 and the fixed block 11, the pitch is not likely to change even when the bridge base 5 is moved up and down by the tremolo arm 16.

However, even in such a conventional tremolo unit mechanism, since the structural string support part 7A and the rotor 9 are separated by a certain distance, the contact resistance in the string support part 7A causes the string to become unstable between them. The tension is not stable, pitch, or in other words, pitch deviation cannot be completely prevented, and adjusting the octave pitch requires a great deal of time and effort. In other words, it is not possible to install a screw for adjusting the octave pitch due to the structure, so it is necessary to loosen the fixing bolt 8 and move and adjust the bridge body 7 by hand. The work of moving the main body 7 to the right is troublesome and requires fine adjustment by tightening and loosening the fixing bolt 8 many times. In addition, if the ball end of the string 1 is not cut structurally, the rotor 9
There were some inconveniences such as the fact that the string 1 could not be held between the fixed block 11 and the fixed block 11.

A bridge mounting 25 is disposed on the upper surface of the central portion of the bridge base 5 and is moved and adjusted along the elongated hole 20 when adjusting the octave pitch. That is, Bridge Mounting 25
integrally has a vertical piece 25A that extends below the bridge base 5 through the elongated hole 20, and this vertical piece 25A has the octave pitch adjustment screw 2.
A screw hole into which the tip of No. 3 is screwed is formed. Therefore, the octave pitch adjustment screw 23
When rotated, Bridge Mounting 25
is adjusted to move along the elongated hole 20, but normally the bridge base is secured by a screw 26 that is screwed into the mounting 25 and passes through the elongated hole 20, and a nut 27 that is screwed onto the tip of this screw 26. It is fixed at 5.

The bridge body 7 disposed on the upper surface of the front end of the bridge base 5 has its front end connected to the bridge mounting 25 by a shaft 28, so that it can freely rotate in the vertical direction about the shaft 28. The rotation of the rear end with respect to the bridge mounting 25 is restricted by a fine uniting screw 29. An arcuate string support portion 7A centered on the shaft 28 is integrally provided on the upper surface of the front end of the bridge body 7.
Corresponding to A, a string fixture 30 is fixed onto the bridge body 7 with a set screw 31. and,
A hollow string locking portion 33 is provided on the lower surface of the bridge body 7.
The string locking portion 33 is inserted into the storage chamber 3 through the elongated hole 20 of the bridge base 5. The inner hole of the string locking part 33 constitutes a string insertion hole 34, and the string support part 7 is provided at the upper end opening thereof.
The ends of A are continuous.

In the tremolo unit mechanism having such a configuration, the tension of the string 1 is adjusted by the fine tuning screw 29. That is, when the fin inch screw 29 is loosened, the bridge body 7
rotates upwards about the connecting pin 28 due to the tension of the string 1, and when tightened, rotates downwards due to the tightening force at this time, so that the support point A of the string 1 in the string support section 7A By moving back and forth, the tension of string 1 is changed, and the pitch is adjusted as a result. In this case, since the string support part 7A is formed in an arc shape around the shaft 28, even if the bridge body 7 rotates up and down, the support point A does not move up and down, and the string height is always kept constant. Can be maintained. In addition, since the string fixture 30 is disposed close to the support point A and presses and fixes the string portion 1A supported by the string support section 7A, the tension of the string between the support point A and the string fixture 30 is Changes can be minimized and pitch deviations can be prevented.

Next, to adjust the octave pitch, loosen the octave pitch adjustment screw 26 in advance.
3, by moving the bridge mounting 5 back and forth together with the bridge body 7. For this adjustment, the rear end of the bridge base 5 is lifted by the tremolo arm 16, the octave pitch adjustment screw 23 is pulled out from the storage chamber 3, and the screw 23 is rotated in this state. After the octave pitch adjustment is completed, the screw 26 is tightened to fix the bridge mounting 25 to the bridge base 5, thereby preventing the octave pitch from going out of order.

As described above, in the tremolo unit mechanism for an electric guitar according to the present invention, the bridge body is connected to the shaft so as to be rotatable in the vertical direction, and is fixed by the fin-inch screw, thereby achieving bridge mounting. Since the octave pitch adjustment screw is movably arranged on the bridge base, the octave pitch can be adjusted simply and easily. Furthermore, since the string support portion of the bridge body is formed in an arc shape around the axis, the string height does not change even when the bridge body is rotated for the purpose of adjusting the pitch. Furthermore, since the string support point and the fixed point are placed close to each other, there is little change in the tension of the string during this time, and the pitch can be maintained safely, which is very effective.
