Contact lenses that are attached to the front of the eyeball are usually cleaned by applying a cleaning solution to the fingertips and rubbing them after the lens is removed, but this method takes time to clean and the fingertips must be washed in advance to remove oil and fat. Furthermore, since contact lenses are small and thin, lenses are often lost during cleaning and when rinsing with water after cleaning, resulting in many inconveniences such as the need to be careful when cleaning.

The structure of this invention is that a pair of brushes that are rotationally driven by a motor are disposed inside the cleaning tank and are opposed to each other on the same axis, with their tips touching each other, and a lens is placed between the tips of the pair of brushes. A holder support frame that removably supports the lens holder is provided so that the lens supported by the holder is positioned, a lens holder is set on the holder support frame, and the tip of the brush is applied to both the front and back surfaces of the lens supported by the holder. The brush is rotated by contact, and the front and back surfaces of the lens are cleaned by the contact rotation of the brush.

A pair of cylindrical holder support frames 10 stand up on the bottom plate of the cleaning tank 2, and brush insertion holes 11 are formed at opposing positions on the outer periphery of each holder support frame 10, and the brush 9 is inserted into the brush insertion holes 11. The tip of the is inserted. Further, a lens holder 12 is attached to the upper part of the holder support frame 10 by means of screw connection.
is attached removably. This lens holder 12 includes a pair of opposing elastic support plates 13, 13, each support plate 13 is provided with an elongated hole 14, and after fitting a part of the outer circumference of the contact lens A into the hole 14, the lens holder 12 When attached to the holder support frame 10, the tip of the brush 9 comes into contact with both the front and back surfaces of the lens A.

The contact lens cleaning device shown in the embodiment has the above-mentioned structure, and this cleaning device attaches the lens holder 12 supporting the lens A to the holder support frame 10 and cleans the contact lens A by rotating the brush 9 driven by the motor 4. It is used for cleaning.

Therefore, apply cleaning liquid to the tip of the brush 9,
By rotating the brush 9 by driving the motor 4, both the front and back surfaces of the contact lens A can be cleaned through contact with the brush 9.

Note that if water holes 15 are formed in the upper part of the peripheral wall of the cleaning tank 2, the water level of the stored water can be maintained at the level of the water holes 15, so water is continuously supplied to the cleaning tank 2. Since the rinsing work can be performed in the same state, the cleaning work can be performed efficiently.

In the illustrated embodiment, two holder support frames 10 are erected from the bottom plate of the cleaning tank 2, but the number of holder support frames 10 and their mounting positions are arbitrary. It may also be supported detachably. In addition, the holder support frame 10
Although the support frame 10 has a cylindrical shape, the shape of the support frame 10 is arbitrary, and the attachment of the lens holder to the holder support frame 10 is not limited to screw connection.

As described above, this idea is such that when a contact lens supported by a lens holder is placed between a pair of opposing brushes and the brushes are rotated, the tips of the brushes are in contact with both the front and back surfaces of the contact lens. Since it rotates, the contact lenses can be automatically and efficiently cleaned by applying cleaning liquid to the tip of the brush or by filling the cleaning tank with water.
