おいて、サイドカバー本体の該接続縁部近傍、又
は該車体への装着時該サイドカバー本体の該接続
縁部近傍外面に所定個所が重合する部材の該所定
個所に、該サイドカバー本体の面位置修正用突起
を突設し、該突起に該サイドカバー本体の接続縁
部近傍又は該部材の所定個所が当接することによ
り該サイドカバー本体に対してその厚さ方向への
押圧力が作用し得る如くなし、該押圧力にて、該
サイドカバー本体をその接続縁部が該燃料タンク
の接続縁部と均一面状態になるように構成したこ
とを特徴とするオートバイ用サイドカバーの位置
合わせ構造を提供するものである。

変形防止用補強リブが不要となり、その為の設備
も不要となり、また試作時の修正が容易確実とな
り、従つて試作から製品化に至るまでの時間を削
減することができるものである。
