In order to plant rice seedlings grown by sowing in seedling boxes using a rice transplanter, it is easier to plant the rice seedlings if they have long stems and small leaves. Additionally, if the stems of rice seedlings are long, the leaves will be positioned above the water surface after planting and will be less affected by buoyancy, making them less likely to fall over. In addition, rice seedlings with long stems and small leaves are well tillered after rice transplantation and can increase rice production. In order to obtain rice seedlings with long stems and small leaves, the seeds are sown in a nursery box, and the seedlings are covered from around 7 to 10 days after germination to block sunlight and keep them warm and moisturized to prevent yellowing. All you have to do is cause the phenomenon to occur.

Conventionally, a tent house film and bamboo mat have been used in combination as a covering material for covering the rice seedlings. However, bamboo mats are difficult to obtain, expensive, and heavy, making them inconvenient to handle. Further, conventional seedling growing boxes are made of wood or synthetic resin, and if the box is made of wood, it has a gap at the bottom, and if it is made of synthetic resin, it has a hole at the bottom. Therefore, when growing rice seedlings, it is necessary to water the rice seedlings relatively frequently, which is extremely troublesome and requires manpower, and it is not possible to achieve uniform growth of the rice seedlings.
In addition, as rice seedlings grow, their roots extend into the soil, and when planting rice, the roots must be cut, which is not only a tedious task, but cutting roughly can damage the roots and prevent them from taking root in the paddy field. I can't expect that. Furthermore, there were other drawbacks, such as pathogenic bacteria such as rice blast disease in the soil adhering to the method, making it impossible to grow healthy rice seedlings.

The purpose of this invention is to develop rice seedlings that have excellent light-shielding, heat-retaining, and moisture-retaining properties, to grow long stems and small leaves so that they are suitable for transplanting using a rice transplanter, and to be lightweight when handling. It is possible to easily perform this process, reduce costs, and achieve uniform growth of rice seedlings with simple operations. It is possible to prevent damage and encourage rice seedlings to take root in rice fields, prevent pathogens from adhering to the soil and grow healthy rice seedlings, and even grow seedlings in the garden using tap water. The present invention aims to provide a rice seedling growing device that can be easily managed.

Embodiments of the present invention will be described below with reference to the drawings. As shown in FIG. 1, a plurality of arch-shaped aggregates 1 made of FRP (reinforced glass fiber unsaturated polyester) or the like are arranged in parallel, and both ends of each aggregate 1 are press-fitted into the ground. The covering sheet 2 covering these aggregates 1 is composed of a water-impermeable sheet 3 and a nonwoven fabric 4, as is clear from FIGS. 2 and 3. The water-impermeable sheet 3 is composed of a mixed woven fabric 5 and synthetic resin films 6 and 7. The mixed woven fabric 5 is woven using flat threads 8 made of a polyolefin synthetic resin colored black as warp and weft threads. The synthetic resin flat thread 8 has a width of 1 to 20 mm and a thickness of 5 to 20 mm.

The covering sheet 2 is stretched over the aggregate 1 like a tent with the nonwoven fabric 4 inside, and a growth chamber 10 is formed inside the covering sheet 2. As another example of the covering sheet 2, as shown in FIG. A nonwoven fabric 4 may be partially bonded in a linear manner directly to the opposite side of the synthetic resin film 6, that is, to the other side of the mixed woven fabric 5.

A water storage box 11 housed in the growth chamber 10 is made of a water-impermeable sheet 12. The water-impermeable sheet 12 has the same structure as the water-impermeable sheet 3 except for coloring, and has a bottom surface 13 as shown in FIG.
The side surfaces 14 are arranged continuously around the four circumferences of the tube, and the adjacent side surfaces 14 are overlapped and fixed at the corners to form a watertight structure. A drainage hole 15 is formed in the middle of the side surface 14 to maintain a constant water depth. Each side surface 14 of this water storage box 11 may be reinforced with a synthetic resin plate or a mixed woven fabric, if necessary. The water reservoir box 11 is housed in the growth chamber 10 as shown in FIG.
A plurality of seedling growing boxes 16 are stored inside.

In order to use the rice seedling growing apparatus of the present invention having such a structure, as shown in FIG. 1, seeds are sown in a seedling growing box 16 and watered to collect water in the water storage box 11 to grow the rice seedlings. After 7 to 10 days have passed after germination, the covering sheet 2 is stretched over the aggregate 1 in a tent-like manner with the nonwoven fabric 4 inside to cover the rice seedlings 17. Thus, the covering sheet 2 blocks sunlight, and air is impregnated between the non-adhesive portions of the impermeable sheet 3 and the non-woven fabric 4 to retain heat and moisturize, thereby causing yellowing of the rice seedlings 17. This allows the plant to grow into long stems and small leaves. The covering sheet 2 is peeled off from time to time about two weeks before rice planting to allow the rice seedlings 17 to get used to sunlight and to strengthen their stems and leaves. After growing, the seedling growing box 16 is taken out from the water storage box 11,
Transported to Honda. At this time, even if the roots of the rice seedlings 17 extend outward from the seedling raising box 16,
Since it is shielded from the ground by the bottom surface 13, it can be easily taken out without damaging the roots.

The mixed woven fabric 5 in the covering sheet 2 of the embodiment,
To color the synthetic resin films 6, 7 and the nonwoven fabric 4 black, for example, carbon powder may be mixed therein. Further, in the above embodiment, the mixed woven fabric 5, the synthetic resin films 6 and 7, and the nonwoven fabric 4 are all colored black, but if it is possible to block light, only any one of them may be colored. Further, the color is not limited to black as long as it can block light. Further, the water-impermeable sheet 3 of the covering sheet 2 and the water-impermeable sheet 12 of the water storage box 11 may be a polyvinyl chloride tarpaulin sheet.

As is clear from the above explanation, according to the present invention, the covering sheet is composed of a water-impermeable sheet made of synthetic resin and a nonwoven fabric partially adhered to one side of this sheet. The sheet can prevent wind and rain from permeating through, and the air can be trapped between the nonwoven fabric and the impermeable sheet to retain heat.
It can retain moisture, and at least either the water-impermeable sheet or the nonwoven fabric can be colored to block light. Therefore, by covering the rice seedlings in the nursery box, yellowing phenomenon is caused in the rice seedlings,
Rice seedlings can be grown with long stems and small leaves so that they are suitable for rice transplantation using a rice transplanter.
In addition, as mentioned above, the covering sheet is made of a synthetic resin sheet and a nonwoven fabric, so it is lightweight and easy to handle. Moreover, the material is easy to use, so it can be provided at low cost. be able to. The seedling box is made of synthetic resin and is housed in a water storage box made of a water-impermeable sheet. Therefore, it is possible to save labor by reducing the number of times of watering, and it is also possible to achieve uniform growth of rice seedlings. In addition, the roots of the rice seedlings in the nursery box are not blocked by the bottom of the water storage box and do not extend into the ground, making it easy to remove the rice seedlings and prevent damage to the roots. This allows them to take root in paddy fields. Furthermore, the water storage box can prevent pathogens from adhering to the rice seedlings from the soil, allowing healthy rice seedlings to grow. Furthermore, since water sprayed on the rice seedlings can be stored in the water storage box, the rice seedlings can be grown using tap water in the garden, which has the advantage of being easy to manage.
