ピストンの上下動によつて該上部液室と下部液室
間に置換流通される作動液のバイパス量を調整す
る減衰力可変機構が、前記ピストンをピストンロ
ツドに一体的に連結したスタツドに形成されて下
部液室に連通する軸孔と、この軸孔と連通するよ
うに異なる口径をもつてスタツドの周方向に複数
個穿設された上下2列のオリフイスと、この上下
2列のオリフイスに連通されてピストンロツドと
スタツドとの嵌合面部に形成された環状路と、こ
の環状路を上部液室に連ねるようにピストンロツ
ドに形成された連通孔と、スタツドの軸孔内に回
動可能に収納配置されて上下2列のオリフイスを
選択して開閉するシヤツタと、このシヤツタ内に
収納配置された伸行程で上下2列のオリフイスの
うちのいずれか一方のオリフイス列への作動液の
流通を遮断するチエツクバルブとで構成された減
衰力可変型液圧緩衝器において、前記環状路と連
通孔とを上下2列のオリフイス毎に分別構成した
