Conventionally, this type of switch structure was developed in 1983.
143633 (Jitsugan 56-31968) is known. In this switch structure, in an electronic watch that uses a circuit board with a wiring electrode pattern formed on only one side, a fixing plate with an integrally formed switch spring is placed on the other side of the circuit board, and the switch spring part is connected to the circuit. The feature is that the switch circuit is turned on and off by hooking it to the wiring electrode pattern side of the board and sliding it in the plane direction while pressing the circuit board. With this structure, the fixed board can be attached to the circuit board. To prevent the switch springs from hitting the circuit board when stacking them, consideration must be given to letting them escape to the side. Moreover, letting them go to the side has disadvantages such as bending and changing the switch stroke, and is also difficult to assemble. Automatic assembly machines were simply not suitable for mass production.

For a watch with this structure, first insert the liquid crystal panel 5 into the panel frame 7, then insert the connector 6, fit the switch spring 8 into the dowel 7A, and then connect the battery negative terminal 10. Then, the circuit boards 1 are placed one on top of the other, and heat caulking is performed. This thermal caulking involves melting and crushing the tips of the dowels 7A, 7A, 7A with a hot chisel to create a larger diameter portion 7' than the hole 1A of the circuit board 1 and fixing the panel frame 7, as described above. LCD panel 5, connector 6, circuit board 1, switch spring 8,
The battery negative terminal 10 is integrated.
At this time, the switch spring 8 is laminated on the pattern of the circuit board 1, but since an insulating layer 1' such as a solder resist is provided directly under the switch spring 8 to increase the insulation of the circuit board 1, the short It does not cause such problems. The conductive contact portion 8B of the switch spring 8 contacts the positive electrode pattern 1C with a desired spring pressure to supply power to the electronic components 2, 3, and 4, and the conductive contact portion 8B contacts the electrode of the liquid crystal panel 5, especially in the illustration. Since it is close to the back surface of the opposite side (lower side), even if the lower side of the liquid crystal panel 5 falls down and tilts due to a shock when the user is carrying it, it will not touch this conductive contact part 8B and prevent further damage. Since it prevents tilting, the appearance does not deteriorate significantly, and there is no need for dummy rubber for tilt prevention, which was additionally used in the past, and tilt prevention can be achieved at low cost.

In addition, if some of the parts, such as the liquid crystal panel 5 or the circuit board 1, break down due to long-term use by the user, the large diameter part 7' of the heat crimping can be cut off with a cutter knife, etc., and the product can be disassembled and replaced with a new one. Simply replace it, insert the screw 11 into the screw hole 7B immediately adjacent to this dowel, and complete the assembly. By doing this, after-sales service can be performed easily, and the dealer does not need to keep a large number of expensive finished movements in stock, but only needs to have the required number of each part, and the user can purchase the product at a low price. All you have to do is cover the repair costs.

This integrally assembled electronic timepiece movement displays a common and well-known timekeeping function on the liquid crystal panel 5 by inserting a silver battery 9. If the user wants to see the "month/day" or "seconds" display in addition to the so-called "time display," he/she can press a side button provided on the exterior. For example, by pressing the upper right side button, the switch spring 8
The side button receiving portion 8D receives this and slides the switch input arm portion 8C on the circuit board 1.

There is a switch input pattern section 1D at the tip of the switch input arm section 8C, and switch input is achieved by the switch input arm section 8 riding on this pattern, and the "month/day" display format changes to "seconds" display. It changes. When the user releases his/her finger from the side button, the switch input arm 8C returns to its original position due to the spring force, maintaining the predetermined switch stroke 1 and taking the next input opportunity. By making the switch input pattern part 1D into a fan shape with the center on the switch input arm part 8C side, the switch stroke due to mutual positional variations between the tip of the switch input arm part 8C and the switch input pattern part 1D during processing and assembly can be reduced. There is less variation.
For example, in FIG. 6, if 1E is the variation range of the tip of the switch input arm 8C with respect to the switch input pattern section, then the tip of the switch input arm 8C is 8
If it is near C', the tip of the switch input arm 8C will come into contact with the input pattern part near 1E and an input will be made, but if the switch input pattern shape is 1D',
There is a difference of l' in the switch stroke near 1E between the case of 1D which is the present invention, and the switch stroke of the 1D' shape is longer by l'. Although not shown, if the switch stroke becomes long, a situation may occur in which the side button receiving portion 8D of the switch spring contacts the panel frame first and no input is made. It should be noted that the lower right switch input arm 8C is used for "time adjustment", and switch input can be achieved by the same operation as described above.

As described above, the present invention provides electrical connections between a circuit board on which electronic components such as MOSIC chips are mounted, a switch spring laminated on the circuit board, and electrodes of the circuit board and the electrodes of a liquid crystal panel placed on the switch spring. The switch spring includes a connector for connecting the liquid crystal panel to a predetermined position on the circuit board, and a panel frame for arranging the liquid crystal panel at a predetermined position on the circuit board. A switch input arm having a stroke and contacting the circuit board with a predetermined pressing force, and a side button receiving part for sliding the switch input arm in a plane direction and electrically contacting the switch input pattern part. In addition, the switch spring is clamped and fixed between the panel frame and the circuit board, so there is no need to move the switch input arm sideways and hook it to the circuit board during assembly. There is no need to worry about them breaking, and since these parts can be simply stacked on top of each other, automatic assembly is possible and mass production is possible. Furthermore, since the electronic components and switch input pattern on the circuit board are both placed on the surface of the panel frame, the circuit board can be a single-sided wiring board, which simplifies assembly and reduces costs. This is a significant contribution.
