Abstract

PURPOSE:To enable a cargo ship to be stably toward even when it performs turning action or the like, by providing a connecting structure for connecting the cargo ship with a small jet propelling boat and connecting the rear end part of the propelling boat with the front end part of the cargo ship through a pair of bar-shaped members which can be relatively moved. CONSTITUTION:This connecting means 30, for connecting a cargo ship 11 with the rear part of a propelling boat 10, comprises the first member 40 and the second member 50. The first member 40 comprises a pair of arms 41, protruding in the lengthwise direction of a ship body, and a bar-shaped guide member 42, extending in the beam direction between point end parts of said arms 41, and the guide member 42 is formed so that it forms a symmetrical circular arm for the center line of the ship body further being positioned in a tilt surface in the diagonally upper direction. While the second member 50 consists of a bar-shaped member, protruded in the lengthwise direction of a ship being formed as a whole in an almost U-shape, and point end parts 52 of the member 50 are movably fitted to the guide member 42, while the other end part is rotatably supported to a mounting member 60 provided in the front end bottom part of the cargo ship 11.

(Prior Art) Recently, small jet propulsion boats, which are small boats equipped with engines and are designed to glide on water, have come into widespread use. Since this ship is small and does not have space to carry cargo, it is necessary to tow another barge when sailing far away. This barge must be towed stably against various movements of the propulsion boat. Since the propulsion boat performs various movements, it is desirable that the barge towed by it also make almost the same movements as the propulsion boat. However, if the two are simply connected with a rope, the barge cannot avoid the same movement as the propulsion boat, and there are problems such as the barge colliding with the propulsion boat when making a sudden turn or stopping. Also, if the two are connected in a completely fixed state, it is possible to make the same movement as the propulsion boat, but this increases the length of the propulsion boat, which significantly impairs the turning performance of the propulsion boat, which is not desirable. . Furthermore, the connection structure must be designed to prevent the so-called jackknife phenomenon that occurs when a trailer on land makes a sharp turn or stops suddenly.

(Structure of the Invention) The present invention provides a connection structure for connecting a barge to the rear of a small propulsion boat having propulsion and turning means, in which a first member is fixedly attached to one of the barge and the propulsion boat, and the other is fixedly attached to one of the barge and the propulsion boat. a second member is mounted rotatably only about a horizontal axis;
The first member is a rod-shaped member extending in the width direction of the ship, and is formed so as to form a symmetrical arc with respect to the center line of the ship, and is positioned within an inclined surface diagonally upward. It has a pair of arms that protrude in the length direction and are symmetrical in the width direction of the ship, and the distal ends of the arms are movably fitted around the arcuate portion of the first member.

In this way, since the first member has an inclined circular arc portion and the pair of second members in the ship width direction are movably fitted around the first member, the inclination when the propulsion boat turns is reduced by the second member. The signal is transmitted to the barge by the two members, causing the barge to tilt in the same way, and when turning, the directions of the propulsion boat and the barge change, allowing smooth turning.

The second member 50 is made up of a pair of rod-like members that protrude in the longitudinal direction of the ship and are symmetrical in the ship's transverse direction, and the rod-like members are connected to each other at the center to form a substantially U-shape as a whole. In the above configuration, when the propulsion boat 10 travels, the coupling means 3
A barge 11 connected via 0 is towed. On this occasion,
The high-speed water stream jetted from the propulsion boat 10 passes through the recess between the buoyancy launching parts 15 of the barge 11, so that the propulsion resistance does not increase due to this water stream.

Further, since the second member 50 is rotatable at its base end, the barge 11 can pitch due to the influence of waves, and the front end of the barge 11 is pulled diagonally upward by the second member 30. This prevents the barge 11 from plunging into the water.

When the propulsion boat 10 is tilted laterally and turned, the guide member 4
The second member connected to 2 at two points in the width direction of the ship is also tilted in the same way, and this tilting force is transmitted to the barge 11 via the attachment member 60, and the barge 11 is also tilted in the same direction. For example, when the propulsion boat 10 turns to the left, the propulsion boat 10 turns while tilting to the left. Along with this, the guide member 42 also tilts to the left, and the second member 50 connected to the guide member 42 maintains its speed due to the inertia of the barge 11.
As the propulsion boat 11 turns, resistance increases and speed decreases. Therefore, along the guide member 42, the second member 50
moves outward (to the right).

At this time, since the guide member 42 is inclined, the barge 11 coupled to the second member 50 is inclined in accordance with the inclination of the second member 50, and the barge 11 is directed as shown by the imaginary line in FIG. will change. Therefore, the turning of the propulsion boat 10 is

In this way, the barge 11 pitches independently of the hull 10, but when turning, the tilting force necessary for turning is transmitted, as well as the direction changing force, so that smooth turning is performed.
