Claims (1)
- 送風路の上流側にヒータユニツトを備えて前記
送路の下流側に運転者に向けて空気を吹出す吹出
口を設けた空気調和装置と、車両走行時の運転者
の覚醒度の低下状態を検知して制御信号として出
力する制御手段とを具備し、前記送風路に前記ヒ
ータユニツト上流側から前記吹出口に空気を案内
するバイパスを並設し、該バイパスに、該バイパ
ス開閉用の開閉機構を設けると共に、前記ヒータ
ユニツト上流側の空気を前記吹出口に通過させる
第１と第２の通路を並設し、該第２の通路に人体
に安全な刺戟臭発生物質を収納し、該第２の通路
に前記刺戟臭発生物質を密封する密封機構を設け
、前記開閉機構と該密封機構との夫々を、前記制
御手段の前記制御信号出力時に開くように前記制
御手段に連係させたことを特徴とする居眠り運転
防止装置。
