ること、網目が四方に一様に拡がること等の長所
を有するためである。しかし組節が貫通形なるが
故に組節の緊締は緩く、したがつてずれ易く、破
断して解撚したストランドが組節から抜け易いと
いう短所も有している。撚り減りによる網脚強度
の低下を防止するために上撚の撚りピツチを粗く
すればする程組節はずれ易くなる。逆に組節ずれ
防止の為に上撚の撚ピツチをつめると下撚とのバ
ランスが崩れ、上撚が勝ち過ぎて網地が捻れると
いう欠点がある。また上下撚全体を強くすると網
地が硬くなつて網を扱いにくくし、魚体を損傷し
易くする等の欠点を生ずる。またやたらに上撚り
数を多くするということは生産性の点でも好まし
いことではない。従つて無結節網の生産に於いて
は、強度、対摩性、撚りに起因する網の捻れ、柔
軟性、組節の寸法等を考慮しながら可能な限り上
撚りを少くすることが望ましい。この為にずれの
少い構造の組節が要求されるのである。
