For example, when making a fishing net using net fabric, generally, the thick threads forming the longitudinal edges of the belt-shaped net fabric are tied to two ropes, and one rope (upper net) is tied to each rope. This is done by attaching a weight to the float and the other rope (lower net). When this fishing net is thrown into the water, the upper net with floats floats near the surface of the water, the lower net with weights sinks deeper into the water, and the net spreads out vertically in a strip in the water. Fish get caught in the mesh of this wide net and are captured.

Therefore, in order to tie the selvedge yarn of the above-mentioned net fabric to a rope, the ropes are sequentially paid out from the coiled rope winding, and the edges of the net fabric b are formed on the let-out rope a as shown in Fig. 1. Thick thread b 1 (1st
The stitches of the yarn portion (indicated by dotted lines in the figure) were passed through one after another, and the selvedge thick yarn b1 was tied to the rope a, for example, every second stitch using the sewing yarn c. Of course,
The selvage thick thread b1 may be tied to the rope a every fourth or fifth stitch with the sewing thread c. Alternatively, as shown in Figure 1, instead of passing the rope a sequentially through the meshes of the thick selvedge yarn b 1 , the rope a is simply placed on the side of the thick selvedge yarn b 1 , and the tailoring thread c is used for the rope a. Conventionally, the selvedge thick yarn b1 is tied every second, fourth, or fifth stitch. However, according to this method, sewing thread c is required to tie the net fabric b to the rope a, and it is time-consuming when manufacturing a very long strip fishing net, for example, 30 to 100 m. There was a problem that workability decreased. Furthermore, because of the sewing thread, floats and weights that are tied to the rope separately from the net fabric tend to get tangled, and the cost increases due to the sewing thread.

The net fabric 1 of the present invention is as shown in FIG.
The continuous mesh of the thick selvedge yarn 11 located at the edge of the thread is increased every third stitch. The large stitch portion (hereinafter referred to as the large stitch portion) 11b of the thick selvedge yarn 11 is made to be twice to three times as long as the small stitch portion (hereinafter referred to as the small stitch portion) 11a. Make it. The ratio of the small stitch portion 11a and the large stitch portion 11b is not limited to that shown in the figure, and the large stitch portion 11b should appear at least every stitch in the continuous stitches formed by the thick selvedge yarn. However, from the viewpoint of workability, it is preferably every 3 to 6 stitches.

As shown in FIG. 3, a rope 2 for meshing is passed through the hollow part of a cylindrical body 3 having a predetermined length.
Pass through the small and large stitches in sequence.
The small mesh portions 11a, 11a pass the cylindrical body 3 through each mesh, and the large mesh portion 11b is wound around the outer periphery of the cylindrical body 3 by rotating it about twice. The selvedge thick yarn 11 wound around the outer periphery of the cylindrical body 3 is arranged in the following order: two small stitch sections 11a, 11a, and then one large stitch section 11b, which is wound twice.

Next, the rope 2 is pulled out from the hollow part of the cylindrical body 3 in the direction shown by the arrow in the figure, and at the same time, the continuous mesh 11a,
11a, 11b... toward the rope 2, tighten the large mesh portion 11b that has been wound twice, and tie the net fabric 1 to the rope 2 so that each mesh portion is at a predetermined interval on the rope 2. . Figure 4 shows an enlarged view of the main parts of the obtained fishing net. As shown in FIG. 4, the large-seam portions 11b, 11b...
Since the net fabric 1 is rotated, wrapped around the rope 2 and tightened, the net fabric 1 is fixed to the rope 2 without having to tie it using sewing thread as in the conventional method. Large eye area 11
The number of windings of b, 11b... on the rope 2 is 3 to 4.
By rotating it, it will be more firmly fixed to the rope, and there will be no misalignment of the mesh of the thick selvedge thread.

The rope used in this invention is preferably a mustache rope that is not twisted. Beard rope is a 3-strand strand made of short fibers, and because of the short fibers, there is no twist when the rope is unwound from a coiled rope roll, so the net fabric is tied together. There is no chance that the rope will become twisted and the netting will become wrapped around the rope.

In the net fabric of the present invention, the edge of the net fabric may be formed of the same yarn as other yarns, instead of using thick selvedge yarn. Moreover, the net fabric of the present invention is not limited to fishing nets, but can be applied to various other uses. Depending on the application, only one rope may be attached to the netting.
In that case, the continuous mesh forming the edge to which the netted rope is attached may be configured as shown in FIG. 2 above.

In addition, in the case of the net fabric of the present invention, as described above, the rope 2 is not inserted through the continuous meshes 11a, 11a of the thick selvedge yarn, but is passed through only the large mesh portion 11b, and the rope 2 is passed through the large mesh portion 11b, and the large mesh is made by the method described above. A fishing net may be obtained by tying the portion 11b to the rope 2.

In the mesh of the present invention, the mesh of the edge of the mesh is increased at least for each stitch, so the mesh can be tied directly to a rope by utilizing this large mesh. Therefore, when attaching a rope to this net, no sewing thread is required compared to the conventional method, which makes the netting easier and the workability improved.
Furthermore, since no sewing thread is required, there is an advantage that raw material costs are reduced.
