備え、ポンプは撹拌羽根が砂泥底よりも間隔をお
くように支持されたものにおいて、外周がほぼポ
ンプケーシングと同じ大きさの開口部が下向きの
円筒形容器状の隔壁を吸込カバーに対向して間隔
をあけてポンプケーシング側に固定し、且つ水底
と間隔をおいて配し、隔壁の端板中心に撹拌羽根
の挿通する中心穴を設け、液体が撹拌羽根下方か
ら撹拌羽根に向い隔壁の円筒部内側に沿つて下向
きの旋回流れを生ずる如き隔壁の直径よりも小さ
い直径の撹拌羽根が隔壁内にほぼ納まるように配
された水中サンドポンプ。
