〔考案の技術分野〕 この考案は空気調和機の室外ユニツトに係り、
特に送風構造を改良した空気調和機の室外ユニツ
トに関する。 〔考案の技術的背景と問題点〕 一般に空気調和機の室外ユニツトは本体側面に
室外熱交換器を設けるとともに、その上面にフア
ンを設け構成している。そしてフアンの回転によ
り熱交換器外側周囲より空気を吸込み熱交換さ
せ、熱交換後の空気を吹出口から吹出すようにし
ている。しかるに、このような構成の室外ユニツ
トにおいては熱交換器を経て内部に吸込まれた空
気がユニツト内部で旋回流を引き起しながらフア
ンに流入し吹出口から吹出される。そして旋回し
てきた気流と旋回方向上流にある吸込面から吸わ
れた気流とがフアンの周辺で気流衝突をひき起し
フアンへの吸込損失を生じていた。また、このた
め大きな騒音を生じるなどの欠点があつた。 〔考案の目的〕 本考案は上記事情に着目してなされたもので、
その目的とするところはフアンの吸込空気流の衝
突を防止し送風効率を向上させることにより冷暖
房能力の向上および低騒音化をはかれるようにし
た空気調和機の室外ユニツトを提供することにあ
る。 〔考案の概要〕 この考案は側面に室外側熱交換器を、上面にフ
アンを設けた室外ユニツトの、フアンの吸込側に
フアンに近接して整流板を設けることにより、送
風効率、冷暖房能力の向上および低騒音化をはか
れるようにしたものである。 〔考案の実施例〕 以下、この考案を図面に示す一実施例にもとづ
いて説明する。図面において1は空気調和機の室
外ユニツト本体であり、この本体1は底板2およ
び吹出口3を形成させた天板4を設けると共に、
底板2、天板4間には、その周囲の側面3面に位
置するよう略コ字形の室外熱交換器5を設けると
ともに、残余の一面を閉塞するように側板6を設
けている。 また内部には、天板4に固定されたブラケツト
7に取付けたフアンモータ8および軸流フアンで
あるプロペラフアン9を設けている。さらに10
は本体1の内部に設けた空気流を整流させるため
の整流板であり、この整流板10はその上端を天
板4に取付固定されている。なおこの取付は天板
4でなく、ブラケツト7あるいは側板6等に取付
けても勿論よい。また、整流板10はフアン9の
回転軸心と、熱交換器5および側板6との境界、
つまり空気の吸込部と非吸込部とが交わるA点と
フアン9軸心とを結ぶ線上に沿つて設けられ、そ
の内部に位置する端部はモータ8に接するか、あ
るいはその近傍に位置させ、その外側に位置する
端部はA点に接するか、その近傍に位置させ、さ
らに、その上端部はフアン9の回転をさまたげな
い程度にフアン9、天板4に近接させ位置するよ
うに形成させてある。 そして、このような構成された室外ユニツト1
は図示しない室内ユニツトとともに運転される。

時計方向に回転するにともない空気は側板6を除
く他の3面から吸込まれ熱交換器5を経て熱交換
し本体1内部に吸込まれる。そして内部で旋回流
となつてフアン9に流入するものであるが、整流
板10によりフアン9吸込部直前で旋回してきた
気流と、旋回方向上流にある吸込面から吸われた
気流とが整流され、フアン9周辺で気流衝突が減
少し、整流板10の両面から、気流の渦を生じさ
せないでフアン9入口まで導くことができ、送風
効率の向上がはかれる。 また出願人は整流板10を設けない場合()、
整流板10を設けた場合()に、それぞれフア
ン9の回転数を一定に保持し、各特性がどのよう
になるか実験を行なつた。 その実験結果は次表のとおりである。
