(Prior Art) According to an example of a semi-finished product for a sealed slide fastener described in Japanese Patent Publication No. 46-17976, which is known as a method for producing a waterproof slide fastener, a synthetic resin monofilament is formed on one surface of the fastener tape. A slide fastener has been disclosed in which a coil-shaped or bellows-shaped fastener link chain (hereinafter referred to as an element) consisting of is fixed, and both the element and the fastener tape are covered with an elastic material. For example, if a large amount of items are stored in a sports bag and a push-up force is applied from the fastener tape side, the butt edge of the sealing piece will open and water will enter through the gap, resulting in poor waterproof performance. Not enough. Additionally, U.S. Patent No.
No. 2841851 discloses a seal member in which a pair of fastener stringers are fixed to the surface of each seal member, but even though the waterproof performance is sufficient, the structure is complex and large-scale, so it requires fastening properties. The ski wear is designed to be small and lightweight. Its structure and function were unsuitable for tents, etc., and the manufacturing cost of the product was high. In addition, in Japanese Patent Publication No. 54-41938, reinforcing tape is attached to one side edge of an airtight tape formed by polymerizing and bonding two sheets, and packing with a chevron-shaped cross section is provided on the end surface of this tape, and the front and back sides of the airtight tape are An airtight slide fastener is disclosed in which a pair of engaging pieces are provided on both sides. However, this airtight slide fastener uses two layers of polymerized tape and
Since it is necessary to provide reinforcing tape and packing, the structure is complicated and the manufacturing process is time-consuming. In addition, US Patent No. 4112150 specifies
After fixing the element to the fastener tape,
A method for manufacturing a waterproof fastener chain is disclosed in which the sealing material is transferred to a sealing material coating device and the sealing material is applied to the element and the fastener tape at the sewn portion of the element under reduced pressure. The work process is complicated and the production equipment is large-scale, which increases production costs, and if the sealant is not applied sufficiently to narrow areas such as the tangled part of the element and sewing thread, the product may not be waterproof enough. In the end, this method was not suitable for producing waterproof slide fasteners to be attached to ski wear, etc., due to the quality and cost of the product.

Example 1 In FIGS. 1 and 4, A is a fiber tape 1 having a width approximately twice that of the continuous stringer, or a tape E made of a rubber or synthetic resin material. A strip formed by bending and folding back in the longitudinal direction along the center line L shown in the figure, and bonding the opposing surfaces 3 with heat and pressure with adhesive or heat-adhesive synthetic resin film 5 sandwiched therebetween. In addition, this strip A is made of natural or synthetic fibers, chemical fibers,
A woven or knitted, long and narrow piece of fiber-based tape of an appropriate thickness, on both the front and back sides, the entire longitudinal edge of one edge 4, and the raised ridges forming a bead. Coating on the entire surface of T.
Covering made of watertight and airtight rubber materials and sealing materials (including vinyl chloride-based elastic soft sealing materials) applied by extrusion lamination, spraying, coating, pasting, adhesion, etc. Preferably, the material is provided with a material. T is a pair of raised protrusions for beads provided on both upper and lower surfaces C along the longitudinal direction near the folded edge 4 of the strip A; A separate circular string-like protrusion may be provided by adhesive, welding, or other means. 34 is a fitting made of metal such as nickel silver, red bronze, brass, or aluminum alloy, or synthetic resin such as polyacetal nylon 66 (trade name); 35 is a leg of fitting 34; 36
37 in Fig. 4 is the engaging head of the engagement tooth 34.
is its pocket, and 38 is its head. When the fasteners 34 are made of metal, the legs 35 are individually caulked in large numbers to the raised protrusions T for beads, and are planted and fixed in a row, and when the fasteners are made of synthetic resin, they are fixed. Now, for the rubber raised protrusions, a large number of them are continuously planted and fixed in a row by extrusion molding or injection molding, and the above-mentioned raised protrusions T
The same applies if it is made of synthetic resin material. An important and essential component in carrying out the present invention is that the edge 4 of the strip A should be positioned closer to the engagement center line M of the engagement head 36 of the engagement teeth 34 and the pocket 37 of the engagement head 36 of the engagement teeth 34 planted in one row. The upper and lower sets of engagement teeth 34 of the pair of left and right continuous stringers X and Y having this configuration are engaged with each other to form a watertight seal as shown in FIG. 4. The purpose is to obtain a continuous chain of airtight sliding fasteners. In addition, when the fibrous tape 1 is coated with a soft sealing material 12 having elasticity on the surface of the tricot knitted tape shown in FIG.
4 expands the contact surface 3, increasing the joint area and increasing the strength. FIG. 3 shows a preferred method for producing the product of this example. That is, an appropriate material constituting the strip A (in the case of FIG. 3, a tape 1 made of a fibrous material and a covering material 2 is shown, but the material is not limited to this) is inserted into an appropriate material about twice the width of the stringer. The process involves fixing parallel raised ridges T forming a pair of beads on both sides of the center line L of the width at a predetermined distance from the center of the width in the longitudinal direction of the surface of the strip A. The second step is to individually plant and fix a large number of interlocking teeth 34 forming an interlocking link on the parallel raised protrusions T with their interlocking heads facing each other. The strip A with the fastening teeth 34 planted thereon is placed in the middle of the rows of the pair of fastened fastening teeth 34, in the longitudinal direction of the strip A, in parallel with the row of fastening teeth 34,
A watertight/airtight slide fastener continuous stringer is produced by performing the third step of joining the bent and folded contact surfaces 3 together by adhesive or other means. In addition, in the case of the above-mentioned bending and turning, when the mutual spacing of the rows of interlocking teeth 34 is folded in half at the center line L shown in FIG. 3, the upper and lower surfaces C are the same. If the stringer shown in FIG. 3 is provided with the hook teeth 34 at the position shown in FIG. It becomes a stringer in which the connecting teeth 34 are arranged at different positions on both sides C. In the embodiment, in order to maintain the strength and durability of the tape E made of rubber or synthetic resin material, reinforcing threads 15 as shown in FIG. Reinforcing threads 15 may be added only to. Also edge 4
As a means of maintaining good pressure contact and improving watertightness and airtightness, only the edge 4 is made thicker, as shown in FIG. In addition to the above, if the covering material 2 is made of an elastic soft sealing material 12 and a hard sealing material is attached as a protrusion 41 to one edge 4, it will bite into the opposing edge during pressure welding. recess 4
0, it is possible to improve watertightness and airtightness. In addition, in Fig. 1, the raised protrusions T are provided oppositely to the upper and lower surfaces C of the stringer A at the same positions on the upper and lower sides, but the 5th
As shown in the cross section in the figure, if raised protrusions T are arranged at different positions on the upper and lower sides, and stringers with fastening teeth 34 are combined with these to form a watertight/airtight slide fastener continuous chain, the sixth As shown in the figure, the area to be pressed is not only the edge 4 but also a part W of both upper and lower surfaces C of the strip A in the vicinity, so the contact area of the press-welded part is larger than that shown in Figure 1. , can be made much larger, thereby further enhancing watertightness and airtightness.

(Effects of the Invention) When the watertight/airtight slide fastener continuous stringer of the present invention is combined into a continuous chain, cut into a predetermined length, and finished to form a slide fastener, the fastening teeth 34 are formed on both the front and back sides of the fastener tape. Because of this, the engagement teeth 34 on both sides that engage the pressure welding part that controls watertightness and airtightness hold it strongly, and even if a breakthrough force is applied to the pressure welding part from either the front or the back of the meshing part, the pressure welding part will not close. The watertightness and airtightness of the product will not be impaired. In addition, since there are no special components and no complicated operations are required, handling is easy for both producers and users. There is no need for large-scale equipment or processing machines, and even when using fiber-based tapes, watertightness and airtightness can be achieved by using general equipment and tools.・No equipment is required, and when using soft or hard sealing materials, coating can be easily carried out using an ordinary extrusion molding machine. The structure of the stringer is simple, and production costs can be reduced. Furthermore, according to the method of the present invention, the step of fixing the raised protrusions T for a pair of beads to the strip A can be carried out by sewing using a core string in the case of a fibrous material by a well-known method; In the case of synthetic resin materials, it is possible to produce them in large quantities relatively easily and efficiently by disposing them integrally with the tape by extrusion molding or by bonding means such as adhesion. Then, the strip A made of synthetic resin material has a connecting tooth 3 made of synthetic resin material.
When planting 4, adjust the blend of plasticizer and combine two or more synthetic resin materials of the same type, each with different hardness, into one molding machine to form the three parts of the tape, raised ridges, and interlocking teeth. Production automation, such as being able to manufacture stringers simultaneously or continuously with a slight time difference, by extrusion molding, etc.
It can be said that this is a production method that deserves attention in terms of stabilizing and improving quality and reducing costs. The process of folding and returning is also easy to automate, and in this process, the process of bonding and bonding the facing surfaces 3 with, for example, an adhesive 5 involves the use of a guiding guide piece in the conveyance path of the continuous long strip A. By appropriately arranging the automatic adhesive supply device, the adhesive pressure roller for bonding the contact surface 3 of the applicator, etc., it is possible to produce the product by unmanned operation of automatic machines, so it is highly expected that automation and labor savings in production will be achieved. The direct effects brought about by the production method of the present invention are remarkable.
