(Prior Art) According to an example of a semi-finished product for a sealed slide fastener described in Japanese Patent Publication No. 46-17976, which is known as a method for producing a waterproof slide fastener, a synthetic resin monofilament is formed on one surface of the fastener tape. A slide fastener has been disclosed in which a coil-shaped or bellows-shaped fastener link chain (hereinafter referred to as an element) consisting of is fixed, and both the element and the fastener tape are covered with an elastic material. For example, if too many items are stored in a sports bag and a push-up force is applied from the fastener tape side, the butt edge of the sealing piece will open and water will enter through the gap, resulting in poor waterproof performance. Not enough. Additionally, U.S. Patent No.
No. 2841851 discloses a seal member in which a pair of fastener stringers are fixed to the surface of each seal member, but even though the waterproof performance is sufficient, the structure is complex and large-scale, so it requires fastening properties. The ski wear is designed to be small and lightweight. Its structure and function were unsuitable for tents, etc., and the manufacturing cost of the product was high. In addition, in Japanese Patent Publication No. 54-41938, reinforcing tape is attached to one side edge of an airtight tape formed by polymerizing and bonding two sheets, and packing with a chevron-shaped cross section is provided on the end surface of this tape, and the front and back sides of the airtight tape are An airtight slide fastener is disclosed in which a pair of engaging pieces are provided on both sides. However, this airtight slide fastener uses two layers of polymerized tape and
Since it is necessary to provide reinforcing tape and packing, the structure is complicated and the manufacturing process is time-consuming. In addition, US Patent No. 4112150 specifies
Although a method for manufacturing a waterproof fastener chain is disclosed in which a sealing material is applied to a fastener tape, production of a waterproof fastener chain by this method requires a complicated work process and a large scale production facility, resulting in high production costs. From the viewpoint of product quality and production costs, there is a risk that the sealant may not be applied to narrow areas such as the tangled parts of elements and sewing threads, resulting in products with inadequate waterproofing. However, this method could not be said to be suitable as a method for producing waterproof slide fasteners to be attached to ski wear and the like.

As mentioned above, Z is a watertight/airtight slide fastener continuous chain in which the engaging heads 6 of the upper and lower pairs of elements 5 of the continuous stringers X and Y are engaged with each other. [Above Effect] In this embodiment having the above configuration, when the X and Y continuous stringers are engaged, the edge 4 of the watertight/airtight strip A is at a distance l from the engagement center line M of the element 5. Since it protrudes beyond the element 5 with a gap between them, the opposing edges of both continuous stringers X and Y are closed without any gaps due to meshing, resulting in a good watertight and airtight state. In the above case, in order to fix a pair of elements 5 to both the upper and lower surfaces C of the watertight/airtight strip A, first, when fixing both the upper and lower elements 5 to the same position on the upper and lower surfaces C, first,・After separating a pair of elements 5 on one side of the airtight strip A, sew them together with a gap between them, then fold the strip A in half at the center position between both elements 5, and attach the facing surface 3. join. In addition, in the case of a slide fastener continuous chain Z shown in FIG. 9, in which the elements 5 are engaged with each other on both the upper and lower surfaces, after the above separation, the elements 5 are attached to one side of the watertight/airtight strip A at intervals. The strip A is folded in half at a position slightly shifted from the center between the pair of elements 5, and the opposing surfaces 3 are joined. A pair of upper and lower elements 5 created in this way
A continuous chain Z is formed by combining continuous stringers X and Y, which are respectively placed at different positions on the upper and lower surfaces C of the watertight/airtight strip A,
When the elements 5 are engaged, the parts that press against each other extend not only to the edges 4 of both the left and right continuous stringers The contact area for watertightness and airtightness of the continuous stringers X and Y can be made considerably larger than in the case shown in Fig. 3. The airtight effect can be improved.

In addition, watertight/airtight strip A is a tape made of fibrous material, in addition to a regular type in which a plain woven tape is covered with a covering material made of rubber or a synthetic resin sealing material, there are also four types of strips. Good results were obtained in this example by using a soft sealing material with elasticity, such as soft vinyl chloride as the material shown in the figure. When using a vinyl chloride-based soft sealing material with
The groove 14 between the elements 3 expands the contact surface 3 to increase the joint area, and when the sewing thread 10 is accommodated in the groove 14, the element 5 can be firmly fixed, and the engaging head 6 of the element can be tightened like a sports bag. Suitable for use in products that require extremely large amounts of force. It has already been mentioned that fiber-based tape is used for the watertight/airtight strip A, but it goes without saying that a watertight/airtight covering is not required when using rubber-based material. Strength of tape. To maintain durability, the entire tape E is covered with reinforcing core 1 as shown in Figure 6.
5, or a reinforcing core 15 is added only to the edge 4 shown in FIG. Furthermore, as a structure for maintaining good pressure contact of the edge 4, a protrusion 16 of hard sealing material shown in FIG. 4 is formed on the soft sealing material of the edge 4 at the same time as extrusion molding, as shown in FIG. As shown in FIG. 2, the edge 4 of a tape E made of a rubber-based material has a thickened rubber wall to form a raised portion 17. Additionally, as shown in FIG. 5, by forming a concave groove 18 in the upper leg portion 7 of the element 5, the element 5 can be firmly fixed to the watertight/airtight strip A, and the press-contact retention of the edge 4 can be strengthened. . By using this configuration in combination with the concave groove configuration of the groove 14 between the wales on the back side of the knit tape knitted with tricot stitch, the sewing thread 10 is passed between the two and sewn, thereby making the attachment of the element 5 even more stable and strong. It can be done. Furthermore, as shown in FIGS. 8 and 9, a configuration is adopted in which the upper surface side seam 19 and the lower surface side seam 20 of the sewing thread 10 with respect to the lower leg 8 of the element 5 and the watertight/airtight strip A are made different. For example, since the seams do not overlap, moisture seeping in from the seam 19 on the top side does not reach the seam 20 and attract moisture from there into the utensil, which improves waterproof performance and prevents capillary action. It can be expected to have a positive effect in preventing moisture from entering the inside of the container.

Example 2 (Production method) (Production tools) This example relates to a method for producing a watertight/airtight continuous stringer and the production tools used therein. In FIG. 10, G-1 is a guide to be attached to the sewing machine for sewing the element 5 to the watertight/airtight strip A in the production method of this embodiment, and 22 is a guide attached to the sewing machine that sews the element 5 to the watertight/airtight strip A in the production method of this embodiment. A pair of guide grooves 24 with bottoms and extending in the feed direction of the sewing machine, symmetrically provided on the upper surface of the plate 21, through which the pair of elements 5 are pushed horizontally and tightly.
25 is an upper plate provided above the lower plate 21 with a gap between the lower plate 21 and a gap through which the watertight/airtight strip A can pass, and 25 is a pair of predetermined fixings provided on the upper plate 24 and the lower plate 21. Sewing machine needle 2 that moves up and down depending on the position
6 penetrates the bottom of the guide groove 22 through the hole through which the guide groove 6 enters and exits. 27 is the looper of the sewing machine. The longitudinal centerline N of the partition 23 is made to coincide with the midpoint of the distance P between the pair of sewing machine needles 26. In the sewing machine having the above-mentioned guide G-1, first feed the engaging heads 6 of a pair of elements 5 together with the core cord 11 from the feed side of the guide groove 22 so that they face each other and are in contact with the partition 23; At the same time, a watertight/airtight strip A is fed into the gap between the upper surfaces of the upper plate 24 and the lower plate 21. This state is shown in Fig. 15, when the sewing machine starts sewing and the watertight/airtight strip A is
By sewing the elements 5 and 5 at the same speed, the sewing thread 10 (not shown) sews and fixes the watertight/airtight strip A, the element 5, and the core string 11 through the cooperation of the sewing machine needle 26 and the looper 27. do. 12 and 13 show a part of the continuous intermediate sewn product H which was taken out one after another after completing the sewing process using the sewing machine described above. Next, the watertight/airtight strip A is folded up and down in half at the center line L of the interval between the pair of elements 5 of the continuous intermediate sewn product H, and then folded back, and the contact surfaces 3 are glued or hot welded. When joined, as shown in Fig. 1, the watertight/airtight strip is bonded to the upper and lower surfaces C along the longitudinal direction near the folded edge 4 of the watertight/airtight strip, which is joined to the contact surface 3 which is bent upward and downward and then folded back. To obtain a continuous stringer which is arranged to protrude from a meshing center line M of an element 5 forming a meshing link made of a pair of continuous coiled or zigzag shaped synthetic resin monofilaments. Therefore, by arranging a pair of these continuous stringers on the left and right, continuous stringers
and Y, and by combining the engaging heads of the opposing elements, a watertight/airtight slide fastener continuous chain Z shown in FIGS. 2 and 3 can be obtained. Then, by bending the intermediate sewn product H off its center line L and joining the facing surfaces 3, a continuous stringer as shown in FIG. 9 is obtained.

Example 3 (Production method) (Production tools) Similar to Example-2, this example also relates to a method for producing watertight/airtight continuous stringers and the production tools used at that time. 10
This is a guide similar to the one shown in the figure. 28 is a lower plate of the guide G-2, and 29 is a bottomed guide groove along the feed direction of the sewing machine, through which the pair of interlocking elements 5 are pushed horizontally and tightly, and is arranged on the upper surface of the lower plate 28. . 30 is connected to the lower plate 28 with a gap through which the watertight/airtight strip A can pass between the lower plate 28 and the lower plate 28.
The upper plate 31 is provided opposite to the upper plate 30, and the protruding part 31 is protruded along the sewing machine feed direction on the upper surface of the center part of the upper plate 30. The protruding part 32 is an inverted U formed inside the protruding part 31 from the lower surface of the upper plate 30. The tunnel groove 25, which has a letter-shaped cross section and is arranged along the feed direction of the sewing machine, is a through hole through which the sewing machine needle enters and exits, as in Example-2, and passes through the guide groove 29. 33
is a liner which forms an inverted U-shaped bending portion during the sewing process on the watertight/airtight strip A installed in the tunnel groove 32. Guide G-2 above
In this sewing machine, first, a pair of elements 5 are engaged with each other by their engagement heads 6, supported in a horizontal state, and pushed through the guide groove 29. At the same time, the watertight/airtight strip A is inserted and fed into the tunnel groove 32 of the upper plate protrusion 31, across the liner 33, and into the gap formed between the lower surface of the upper plate 30 and the upper surface of the lower plate 28. This state is shown in FIG. 15, and the operation of the process of starting the sewing machine and sewing the watertight/airtight strip A and the element 5 while feeding them at the same speed is the same as in the embodiment. In the continuous intermediate sewn product J taken out one after another after completing the sewing process, the pair of elements 5 are in an interlocking state, so if this interlocking is separated and expanded, it will be in the same state as the intermediate sewn product H of Example 6. Therefore, in the subsequent steps, the watertight/airtight strip A is folded in half at the center line L of the spacing between the elements, and the contact surfaces 3 are joined to form the continuous stringer of Example 4. If this is obtained and folded back along a folding line Q offset from the center line L as shown in FIG. 16, the continuous stringer shown in FIG. 9 will be obtained.

(Effect of the invention) When the watertight/airtight slide fastener continuous stringer of the present invention is combined into a continuous chain, cut into a predetermined length, and finished to form a slide fastener, the elements 5 are formed on both the front and back sides of the fastener tape. Since the element 5 on both sides engages the pressure welding part that controls watertightness and airtightness,
holds strongly. Therefore, even if an upward force is applied from either the front or the back side of the meshing part, the water-tightness and airtightness of the pressure-welding part will not be impaired. In addition, since there are no special components and no complicated operations are required, handling is easy for both producers and users. There is no need for large processing equipment or processing machines, and even when using tape made of fibers, general equipment can be used for watertight and airtight processing.
In addition, in the case of tapes made of rubber-based materials, almost no equipment is required, and even when using soft or hard sealing materials, the coating can be done using an ordinary extrusion molding machine. It is also superior in that it has a simple structure, which allows for easy coating processing such as lamination processing, and it also allows production costs to be kept low. In addition, the structure of the guide for the jig used during sewing is easy to handle, and by attaching it to a general industrial sewing machine, it is possible to sew the element to the watertight/airtight strip in one continuous process. can be fixed,
The subsequent folding process is also possible using well-known techniques, and the joining of the facing surfaces of the folded parts does not require special processes, equipment, or materials.
In addition, this process can be easily carried out entirely automatically, so when producing the continuous stringer of the present invention, the production tool of the present invention can be used to automate the production process, streamline product costs by saving labor, improve quality, This is a technologically excellent invention because it ensures uniform quality.
