Description

【発明の詳細な説明】 〔産業上の利用分野〕 本発明は水槽付き天板用部材の製造方法に関す
るものであり、例えば流し台、洗面台などの水槽
を熱硬化性樹脂化粧板を木質系基材に貼着してな
る複合部材に取付けるに際し、新規な製造方法を
提供するものである。本発明の効果は意匠性に優
れ、水仕舞いが良く、製造方法が容易で経済性に
優れた水槽付き天板が得られることであり第1図
は後示するように本発明の製造方法によつて得ら
れる水槽付き天板用部材の部分拡大断面図を示す
ものである。

示すように水槽の嵌め込み用穴イを形成した芯材
ロを化粧板ハに貼着する。次いで第3図のaから
eは部分拡大断面図に示すように嵌め込み用穴イ
の化粧板裏面ニに補強用ウレタン樹脂層ホを注入
形成し、硬化後該樹脂層ホと化粧板ハとを水槽ヘ
のフランジ形状に合せて同時切削し天板開口端面
トを形成する。更に補強用ウレタン樹脂層の裏面
部チを平滑に仕上げた後水槽のフランジ部リを当
接させ、更に取付け金具ヌによりフランジ部を該
補強樹脂層に圧着させた状態で水槽の裏面側と芯
材の開口端面ルとで囲まれる凹部ヲに充填接着用
ウレタン樹脂層ワを注入硬化させて水槽を天板に
取りつけるものであつた。

後に刃物による切削工程が必要なことと、切削仕
上げ後水槽ヘを当接させて裏面側から取付け金具
ヌにより圧着させるものであるためこの圧着強さ
に充分耐えるだけの強度を必要とするものであつ
た。そこで該補強樹脂層の厚みはおよそ5mmから
10mmとなり外観を著しく低下させる原因となつて
いた。また製造上においては芯材ロに水槽の嵌め
込み用穴イを形成する時と、補強用ウレタン樹脂
の注入硬化後に天板開口部カを形成する時の最低
2回の切削工程を要するものであり製造工程が繁
雑となり経済性も低くなるという欠点を有するも
のであつた。また補強用ウレタン樹脂層ホの硬化
後に2回目の切削工程を行なうことになるため流
れ作業的な連続生産には不向きな製造方法である
ばかりでなく、水槽の取付け位置は製造工程の最
初の芯材ロに水槽の嵌め込み用穴イを切削形成す
る時点で決定されてしまうものであるため、水槽
の位置の自在性がなく不都合なものであつた。

削し、熱硬化性樹脂化粧板突出部裏面に防水性と
接着性とを有するシーリング剤を塗り付けて水槽
フランジ部を当接させ、水槽取付け具を木質系基
材の開口端裏面から螺着して水槽を取付けて成る
ことを特徴とする水槽付き天用部材の新規な製造
方法を提供するものである。

付け金具19を使つて合板基材の開口端裏面20
から木ネジ21により螺着させ水槽11を取付け
る。次に前記化粧板の開口端15側のシリコン樹
脂シーリング剤はみ出し部22を布で拭き取るこ
とにより本発明の製造方法による水槽付き天板用
部材が得られるものである。次に第6図のaおよ
びbは本発明による他の製造方法の実施例である
工程図の一部を示す部分拡大断面図であり、第4
図により説明したように水槽11をL字型の水槽
取付け金具19で木ネジ21により取付けた後、
水槽11の裏面側と合板基材10の開口端13と
で囲まれる凹部23にウレタン樹脂24を注入し
硬化させることを特徴としている。次に第7図は
本発明の製造方法によつて得られる水槽付き天板

いては従来例の如く前もつて芯材の所定の位置に
開口部を形成しておくものではなく、3mm厚のメ
ラミン樹脂化粧板9と合板基材10とを貼着して
なる複合部材の任意の位置に水槽11取付け用の
開口部17を形成するものであるため水槽の取付
け位置が自由に設定できるという利点を有してい
る。次に本発明の製造方法の最大の特徴は、前記
複合部材に開口部を形成するに際し化粧板と合板
基材とを貼着後切削することにある。そのため切
削工程が1回のセツトでよく従来の製造方法に比
べて生産性がきわめて向上し経済性に優れるとい
う利点がある。また本発明の製造方法に従えば天
板部材の開口端面は殆んど化粧板の厚みのみが露
出するものであり、従来品が5mmから10mmの厚み
であつたのに比べてきわめて薄く意匠性に優れた
ものになるという利点を有する。更に本発明の製
造方法では厚みが2mm以上の熱硬化性樹脂化粧板
を表面化粧材料として使用することを特徴として
いるので、曲げ強度に優れるため従来品の如く化
粧板裏面に補強用ウレタン樹脂層を形成する必要
がない。そのため製造工程が簡略化できるという
大きな効果を有するものとなる。また熱硬化性樹
脂化粧板と水槽のフランジ部との間には防水性と
接着性とを有するシーリング剤が介在しているう
え、天板表面の下面に水槽が位置するものである
ため水仕舞いに優れたものとなるという利点を有
するものである。

とを熱圧成型した金属箔化粧板を含むものとす
る。また熱硬化性樹脂化粧板の厚みを2mm以上と
しているのは本発明の製造方法によれば複合部材
に開口部を形成し前記化粧板突出部裏面に水槽の
フランジ部を当接し水槽取付け具により該フラン
ジ部裏面から水槽を化粧板突出部裏面に圧着させ
るものであるため化粧板の曲げ強度が必要なため
である。すなわち、熱硬化性樹脂化粧板の厚みが
薄いと水槽取付け具により水槽を取付ける際、木
ネジの締付け力に耐えきれず化粧板突出部が天板
の上方に持ち上つてしまう。従つて熱硬化性樹脂
化粧板は2mm以上の厚みを必要とし2.5mmから5
mm位であることが望ましい。次に木質系基材とは
合板、パーチクルボード、フアイバーボード等を
いう。また前記化粧板と木質系基材とを貼着して
なる複合部材を切削して開口部を形成するに際し
熱硬化性樹脂化粧板の開口部寸法は水槽フランジ
部の外周端よりも小さく、かつ木質系基材の開口
部寸法は水槽フランジ部の外周端よりも大きくな
るように切削するものである。第8図は本発明の
製造方法による他の水槽付き天板用部材の部分拡
大断面図を示すものであり、5mm厚のメラミン樹
脂化粧板25と合板基材10とからなる複合部材
に該化粧板の開口端15が水槽フランジ部の外周
端14よりも小さく、かつ水槽フランジ部の内周
端26よりも小さく、合板基材の開口端13が水
槽フランジ部の外周端14よりも大きくなるよう
に切削形成してなるものである。次に化粧板と合
板基材とを切削する手段については限定するもの
ではないが、望ましくはルーター盤の如き回転刃
物を使用し、一回で切削するのがよい。第9図は
本発明に使用する回転刃物の実施態様を示す斜視
図であり直径の大きな台部27と直径の小さな台
部28とからなりこの台部の端部に刃物チツプ2
9を有し中心に回転軸30を有してなるものであ
る。また、本発明にいう水槽とは例えば流し台や
洗面台等に取付けられる流し台用シンクや洗面ボ
ール等を示すものであり、その形状、材質は何ら
限定するものではなく、ステンレス製、鉄板ホー
ロー製、ステンレスホーロー製等の金属製水槽の
ほか、陶器製水槽あるいは合成樹脂製水槽等も含
まれるものである。次に防水性と接着性とを有す
るシーリン剤とは例えばシリコン樹脂充填剤が最
適である。また水槽取付け具の材質、形状は特に
限定するものではなく例えば第10図に示すよう
にL字型の金属製の水槽取付け具31でもよい
し、第11図に示すように金属製の平板32と木
材33とを組合せたものであつてもよい。そして
本発明で使用するる注入用の熱硬化性樹脂とは例
えばポリウレタン、ポリエステル、エポキシ等の
合成樹脂を示すものである。

生産性がよく経済性に優れるという利点を有す
る。また天板部材の開口端面は殆んど前記化粧板
の厚みのみが露出するだけなので薄く仕上がり外
観の意匠性に優れたものとなるという利点を有す
る。更に本発明の製造方法では開口部の熱硬化性
樹脂化粧板突出部裏面に防水性と接着性とを有す
るシーリング剤を塗り付けて水槽のフランジ部を
当接させたうえ水槽取付け具により水槽を圧着固
定するものであるため水仕舞いに優れるという利
点の他従来の如く補強樹脂層を形成する必要がな
いので製造が容易となり実用上きわめて有用なも
のである。

Claims (1)

【特許請求の範囲】 1 厚みが2mm以上の熱硬化性樹脂化粧板を木質
系基材に貼着してなる複合部材に開口部を形成す
るにあたり、前記木質系基材の開口端は水槽フラ
ンジ部の外周端よりも大きく、かつ前記化粧板の
開口端は水槽フランジ部の外周端よりも小さくな
るように水槽の大きさに合わせて前記複合部材の
木質系基材と熱硬化性樹脂化粧板とを切削し、熱
硬化性樹脂化粧板突出部裏面に防水性と接着性と
を有するシーリング剤を塗り付けて水槽フランジ
部を当接させ、水槽取付け具を木質系基材の開口
端裏面から螺着して水槽を取付けて成る水槽付き
天板用部材の製造方法。 2 水槽取付け具により水槽を取付けた後、水槽
の裏面側と木質系基材の開口端面とで囲まれる凹
部に熱硬化性樹脂を注入し硬化させることを特徴
とする特許請求の範囲第1項記載の水槽付き天板
用部材の製造方法。
[Scope of Claims] 1. When forming an opening in a composite member made by pasting a thermosetting resin decorative board with a thickness of 2 mm or more on a wood base material, the open end of the wood base material is attached to a water tank flange. The wooden base material of the composite member and the thermosetting resin decorative board are adjusted to fit the size of the aquarium so that the open end of the decorative board is larger than the outer peripheral end of the aquarium flange part and smaller than the outer peripheral end of the aquarium flange part.
