この発明はゲートボール用ヘッドの打球時に於ける損傷
を極めて軽減し、かつ安全性、耐衝撃性耐摩耗性、体候
性等の性質を有するゲートボール用ヘッドの製造に関す

という危険性があった。又表面にはすべての積層面が露
出しているので吸湿膨脹による打球面の変形著しかった
。上記の多くの現象を防ぐために打球面にキャブカバー

3〜40mm幅の帯状の紙3を集合せしめて、ゲートボ
ール用ヘッドの成形後の比重が約1.1〜1.45にな
るようにし、次に帯状の集合せしめた紙3がゲートボー
ル用ヘッドの芯材部7となるように成形部4に位置させ
て、下金型11と上金型12の間に置き120〜170
℃の温度下で30〜250kg/cm^2の加熱加圧を
せしめ約50〜100分間その状態を保持し、次いで冷
却を施して成形品を離型した。ここで芯材として使用す
るのは、上記の帯状の紙の他に布、或は単板の集合せし
めたもの、又積層合板の成形某が挙げられ、シート状の
ものとして、上記の紙の他布、或は単板が挙げられる又
それらの組み合せも出来る。熱硬化性樹脂としては、フ
ェノール樹脂、メラミン樹脂、エポキシ樹脂が挙げられ
る。このように加熱圧搾成形した後に金型接合面のバリ

のを防ぐ作用がある。(第1図および第3図)結果とし
て圧力不足による接着不良、伸縮の差による中空剥離等
の現象を解消し、接着相がほとんど表面に露出していな
いので打球による周囲の欠け、中央部を通過する割れ等
の危険性にむすびつく損傷を極めて抑制し、又切削成形
時に於いての堀れ込み、ササクレ等の発生を軽減出来た
。尚積み重ね工程の際に数種類の色の異った紙、布或は
単板を使用すると色彩が鮮やかな模様を有するゲートボ
