受けることにより制御部の自己診断を行うことを可能と

ッチやデイツプスイッチなどで実現できる。印字装置は
この信号を検出すると制御部診断処理部2に処理を移す

I4などの診断を行ない、複数のCPUを用いている装
置では他のCPUの自己診断なども行なう。診断の途中
で異常を発見した場合、またはすべての診断が正常に終
了した場合、制御部診断処理部2は診断結果表示部3を
通してオペレータに診断結果を伝える。診断結果表示部
はLED (発光ダイオード)やブザーによって実現で
