Abstract

PURPOSE:To diagnose the state of a control part without mounting mechanical parts, by providing a means for detecting the signal from the outside, a means receiving the signal of said means to perform the self-diagnosis of a control part and a means for displaying the diagnostic result of said means. ッチやデイツプスイッチなどで実現できる。印字装置は
この信号を検出すると制御部診断処理部2に処理を移す
。制御部診断処理部はROM (読み出し専用メモリ)
6やRAM (ランダムアクセスメモリ)7や周辺LS
I4などの診断を行ない、複数のCPUを用いている装
置では他のCPUの自己診断なども行なう。診断の途中
で異常を発見した場合、またはすべての診断が正常に終
了した場合、制御部診断処理部2は診断結果表示部3を
通してオペレータに診断結果を伝える。診断結果表示部
はLED (発光ダイオード)やブザーによって実現で
きる。

発見することが可能となり、それ以降に発生する無駄な
工数を削減できる効果がある。
