Conventionally, a reflector shade including a reflector plate and an end plate made of sheet metal is generally assembled using electric welding such as spot welding. Therefore, it is not possible to use a steel plate that has been surface-treated in advance, such as a colored steel plate, and is instead painted after assembly. This complicates the process and is disadvantageous in terms of cost.

There are also some that use colored steel plates instead of welding, but in this case, it is necessary to use connectors such as screws and rivets to fix each member, so these connectors are attached to the bottom of the reflective shade. The drawback was that it was exposed and the appearance deteriorated.

The present invention was developed based on the above circumstances, and its purpose is to make it possible to use plates that do not require painting after assembly, such as colored steel plates, which are highly rigid, strong, and have a good appearance. An object of the present invention is to provide a reflective shade for lighting equipment.

The gist of the present invention is an open-bottom sheet metal lighting device that is constructed of a reflector, side plates located on the left and right sides of the reflector, and end plates located before and behind the reflector and the side plates. In the reflective shade for appliances, a folded part bent in a substantially U-shape is provided at the lower edge of the side plate and the lower edge of the end plate, respectively, and each folded part has an engagement groove that fits into each other from above and below. By forming and fitting these together, the lower part of the side plate and the lower part of the end plate are connected to each other, and the upper part of the side plate and end plate and the reflector plate are connected to each other by connecting tools such as screws or rivets. This is due to the fact that they are connected.

According to the above configuration, since the folded part bent into a substantially U-shape is provided in the shape of the lower opening of the reflective shade, when it is installed on a ceiling etc. is not exposed, and a desirable design can be obtained. Further, due to the presence of the folded portion having a substantially U-shaped cross section, even a thin sheet metal can be provided with sufficient rigidity, and the engagement of these engaging grooves allows for a strong connection. and,
Because it can be assembled without welding or bending, it is possible to use metal plates that have been surface-treated in advance, such as colored steel plates, which simplifies the process and reduces costs. This is effective in reducing

Then, the middle portion of the lower edge folded portion 40 of the end plate 6 is fitted from below. (See Figure 4) After the side plates 4, 4 and end plates 6, 6 are framed around the reflector 3 as described above, the decorative screws 17, 17...
When it is fixed to the chassis 2 using Incidentally, fluorescent lamps are attached to the sockets 15, 15.

According to the reflective shade 1 having the above configuration, even if a force is applied to the end plate 6 in the direction of the arrow A in FIG. Since the engaging grooves 36, 36 of the side plates also fit into the folded portion 40, a strong connection state can be maintained.

According to the above structure, the side plates, end plates, and reflector plates can be connected without using any electric welding, so there is no need for painting after assembly.
Therefore, the colored steel plate can be used as is. Further, the lower parts of the side plates 4, 4 and the lower parts of the end plates 6, 6 are connected by groove engagement as described above, and there is no need to use connecting devices such as screws or rivets. These connectors are no longer exposed in conspicuous positions when viewed from the side. Moreover, since the lower opening of the reflective shade is shaped like a folded part that is bent into a U-shape, when it is installed on a ceiling, etc., the lower surface of the reflective shade has connectors such as screws and the cut surface of the sheet metal. It is not exposed, and therefore the appearance design is improved.

Moreover, each folded portion 30 provided on the side plate and the end plate,
40 allows even a relatively thin sheet metal to have sufficient rigidity. Further, the convex portion 8 and the bent portions 21, 21 formed on the reflective plate 3 allow the reflective plate itself to have sufficient rigidity.

Furthermore, in the case of this embodiment, the bent portions 31, 3 of the side plates
1 and the bent portions 21, 21 of the reflector plate, a gap 60 (see FIG. 7) along the length of the lamp is formed. It is possible to emit some of the light from the lamp and reflect it off the ceiling.

In the above embodiments, screws are used as an example of the connector, but rivets may be used as the case may be. Further, the present invention is not limited to a two-lamp type as shown in the illustrated example, but can of course be applied to a single-lamp type or a lighting fixture equipped with three or more lamps. Alternatively, it may be a ceiling-embedded type of lighting fixture.

As described above, according to the present invention, the lower opening of the sheet metal reflective shade is shaped by the approximately U-shaped folded portions provided at the lower edges of the end plates and side plates, and these folded portions are connected to each other. Connect by fitting the matching grooves,
Since the end plate, the upper part of the side plate, and the reflector are connected by a connector, it is possible to obtain a highly rigid and strong reflective shade even with a thin sheet metal, and furthermore, the cut surface of the sheet metal is not exposed on the underside of the reflective shade. In addition, since the connectors are placed on the top where they are not noticeable, the appearance is improved, and the end plates, side plates, and reflector plates can be assembled without welding or bending.
It has great practical effects, such as the ability to use sheet metal that does not require painting after assembly, such as colored steel plates.
