晶表示体１１及び該液晶表示体１１の裏面に配設
されかつ前記液晶表示体１１を照明する光源１４
をハウジング１２内に収容した液晶表示装置にお
いて、前記ハウジング１２の外側に放熱板１６を
装着し、さらに前記ハウジング１２が所定温度以
上になつたとき、前記放熱板１６と接離してこれ
に熱を伝えるバイメタル１７を設けたことを特徴
