When watering plants, it is desirable to sprinkle water evenly on the soil surface and allow it to soak in naturally.
For automatic irrigation, irrigation devices using sprinklers or spray nozzles are used to irrigate large areas such as flower beds, while so-called drip nozzles are often used to irrigate small areas such as potted plants. .

As the name suggests, a drip nozzle is a device that inserts the tip of the nozzle into the soil in a pot and supplies water in a drip-like manner, but the most preferable form of irrigation is to spray water evenly over the surface of the soil, like watering with water. It is best to sprinkle water locally to allow natural infiltration, but when using the partial drip method, the problem is that the water does not flow well into the pot, resulting in partial irrigation. In addition, since the tip of the relatively thick nozzle is inserted into the soil, there is a risk of damaging the roots of the cultivated plants.Furthermore, the drip type is completely unsuitable for mono-cultivation of sphagnum moss, which is used for ornamental plants. The problem was that some of the water escaped from the bottom of the pot.

In order to overcome these difficulties, a spray nozzle of the type shown in FIG. 3 has been provided as an application of the spray nozzle to potted plants. That is, in this spray nozzle, a nozzle main body 14 having a spray nozzle 7 is attached to the top of a support 13 having a connection port 12 for the water guide tube 1 in the upper part, and the connection port 12 and the spray nozzle 7 are connected to the support 13 and the nozzle main body. The tubes 14 are connected to each other through water holes 5 formed in the tubes 14, and the support tubes 13 are inserted into the potting soil to perform water spraying. Therefore, the insertion depth of the support 13 is limited by the contact between the upper edge 11 of the pot 8 and the water guide tube 1, and the spray nozzle 7 does not come close to the soil surface.
Rather, it is often positioned above the upper edge 11 of the pot 8 and sprayed outside the pot, making it difficult to fulfill the role of irrigation. For this reason, it is conceivable to insert the support 13 diagonally so that the spray nozzle 7 faces downward.However, if the pot is a large diameter pot, this may be the case, but if the pot is small, the tip of the support 13 may be placed on the inside 15 of the pot. The problem was that it was hard to hit and it was impossible to set up. Furthermore, since the support 13 is relatively large, there is a risk that the support 13 may damage the roots of cultivated plants, similar to the drip type nozzle.

Therefore, the purpose of this invention is that it can be used not only in large-diameter pots but also in extremely small-diameter pots, and that it can be watered evenly close to the soil surface of the pot without damaging the roots. Moreover, the aim is to provide a spray-type irrigation nozzle that is easy to handle and has a simple structure, so to speak. A wire support is attached to the bottom, and the water guide tube is connected to the connection port provided at the top of the nozzle body.By inserting the support from the soil surface of the pot, the spray port drilled in the side can be connected. It is characterized by being able to get as close to the soil surface as possible.

1 is a water guide tube made of soft synthetic resin, one end of which is connected to a water supply pipe connected to a water source;
The other end is a connecting port 4 provided at the top 3 of the nozzle body 2.
It is detachably connected to. Reference numeral 5 denotes a water hole, which communicates the connection port 4 with a spray port 7 formed in the side portion 6 of the nozzle body 2. The spray nozzle 7 may be of any type as long as it can irrigate the entire interior of the pot 8, and is preferably one that has an irrigation range of about 180°. 9 is a support made of wire that supports the nozzle body 2, and the bottom part 10 of the nozzle body 2
is attached to. The support 9 is preferably made of a rust-free, relatively thin metal wire, and the nozzle body 2 is used during irrigation.
It is sufficient if the wire diameter and length are sufficient to support the wire.

The above-mentioned irrigation nozzle can be easily installed in potted soil by pinching the nozzle body 2, and the support 9 is inserted deeply so that the spray nozzle 7 is below the upper edge 11 of the pot 8 and as close to the soil surface as possible. It is something to keep.
For irrigation, water is sent through the water supply pipe to the water guide tube 1 of the nozzle set in each pot.
Water is evenly distributed into the pot 8 from the spray port 7 through the connection port 4 and the water passage hole 5.

As is clear from the above description, the irrigation nozzle according to the present invention has a structure in which a water guide tube is connected to the top of the nozzle body and a support made of wire is attached to the bottom, so that the spray nozzle is located at the upper edge of the pot. Since the support can be inserted as close as possible to the soil surface below, even if the pot has an extremely small diameter, it is possible to irrigate evenly over the entire soil surface of the pot, and the nozzle itself Since it has an extremely simple structure and is lightweight, stable irrigation conditions can be obtained even if the length of the support is shortened, and the support can be made as small as possible, making it easy to cultivate. There is no risk of damaging plant roots, and since the water guide tube is connected to the top, it does not get in the way when inserted and is easy to handle.
