However, vegetables have the problem of being easily perishable, and automatic water dispensers have become popular in recent years due to hygiene issues as well as the recent demand for more accurate experimental data on experimental animals. It is starting to be used.

However, the nozzle mechanism in conventional automatic water dispensers opens and closes the water flow hole of the valve by vertical movement of a flanged piston; Since the mechanism was to open and close the water flow hole at the flange, it was very difficult to balance the water flow hole diameter and the piston outer diameter.
They are often susceptible to the adverse effects of residual water volume (water pressure), and it is extremely difficult to maintain a constant supply of water at all times.

Moreover, since conventional automatic water dispensers require piston holding and fixing members such as springs, they have a complicated structure and are therefore expensive, and in particular, simplicity is required. This is unavoidable when it comes to transporting animals, and despite these disadvantages, the reality is that vegetables still dominate the water supply method due to cost considerations.

Therefore, the present inventor conducted various studies to solve the above-mentioned drawbacks of the conventional automatic water supply nozzle and to develop an automatic water supply nozzle that has a simple structure and can always supply a constant amount of water. The present invention is an automatic animal watering nozzle that can be opened and closed.

That is, in the present invention, a valve body having a water flow hole is installed inside a pipe body whose both ends are open, and one end passes through and closes the water flow hole of the valve body,
This automatic water supply nozzle for animals is characterized in that a stem body whose other end slightly projects outside the water supply side opening of the pipe body is attached to the wall of the pipe body via an elastic support.

Reference numeral 1 denotes a pipe body forming the main body of the nozzle of the present invention, which is open at both ends. The material of the pipe body 1 may be metal, synthetic resin, etc., as long as it has a suitable strength, but synthetic resin is preferable from the viewpoint of moldability, lightness, simplicity, etc. .

Reference numeral 2 denotes a valve body having a water flow hole 3 in its center, which is mounted inside the pipe body 1. The valve body 2 may be mounted in any manner, but for example, a part of the pipe body 1 may be assembled with an outer cylinder part 1a whose inner wall is a stepped surface and an inner cylinder part 1b which fits into the stepped surface. It has a double structure, and the step part 4
A method of clamping and fixing the valve 2 between the two is simple and effective. The material of the valve body 2 does not matter as long as it is an elastic body, and examples thereof include natural rubber, synthetic rubber, synthetic resin, and pulp.

Reference numeral 5 denotes a stem body, and an elastic strut 7 is attached to the inner wall of the pipe body 1 at a position where one end 5a thereof penetrates and closes the water flow hole 3 of the valve body 2, and the other end 5b slightly protrudes outside the water supply side opening 6. It is attached via. Since this elastic strut 7 functions as a fulcrum for the stem 5, its mounting position is preferably a position that does not contact the valve body 2.
It is more effective to open and close the valve body 2 by levering the valve body 2 at positions separated by about 0.3 to 2 cm.

The size of the stem body 5 is made large enough to swing within the pipe body 1, and the outer diameter of the end on the water outlet 3 side is made slightly larger than the diameter of the water outlet 3.
This is more advantageous in preventing water leakage. The material of the stem body 5 may be metal, synthetic resin, or the like.

Since some of the elastic struts 7 function as lever fulcrums as described above, it is most effective to use one-point struts, but the corresponding purpose can also be achieved using two-point struts. The elastic support 7 may be made of any elastic material, such as synthetic resin or metal.

As described above, the present invention can be achieved. If the automatic water supply nozzle of the present invention is attached to the water supply tank 8 or the like as appropriate with the protruding stem side facing outward, an animal can touch the protruding stem part 5b with its tongue. By doing so, the stem body 5 is
acts as a lever, and the stem portion 5a on the valve body 2 side pushes the water outlet 3 to expand, forming a water flow gap.
Water flows, is supplied outside the pipe body opening 6, and is drunk by the animal.

As described above, since the present invention opens and closes the water flow hole 3 of the valve body 2 by the lever action of the stem body 5, compared to the conventional opening and closing by the vertical movement of the piston,
Even if the amount of water remaining in the water supply tank is low, or in other words, even if the pressure is low, it is possible to supply water without leaving a single drop.
This ensures that a constant amount of water is always maintained.

Moreover, since the present invention has a simple structure, its manufacturing cost is extremely low compared to conventional products, and it is particularly advantageous as a water supply nozzle for transporting animals.
