This type of conventional expansion joint for joints is used to connect joints 2 of concrete structures such as roads and bridges along the surfaces of concrete members 3, 3 on both sides, as shown by reference numerals 21, 22, and 23 in FIGS. 1 to 3. The expansion joint 21 shown in FIG.
It is attached to the resin mortar 18 filled with the resin mortar 18, so that it can be expanded and contracted so as to curve downward. Further, the expansion joint 22 in FIG. 2 and the expansion joint 23 in FIG. 3 are each made of soft rubber into an expandable and contractible shape, and both ends thereof are bonded to the notch 14 and the resin mortar 18.

In the case of such expansion joints, in snowy areas, the snow removal claws of snowplows, car tire chains, etc. often come into contact with each other, and the upper surfaces of the expansion joints 21, 22, 23 are made of rubber, so they are easily damaged or worn out. The disadvantage was that the lifespan was shortened.

Reference numeral 10 denotes a metal fixture for storing anchor bolt tightening nuts, which is approximately the same height as the top surface of the joint body 4 and is made of metal in a box shape, and is provided with a hole 12 for the anchor bolt as well as a recess 11 for storing the nut. There is.

Therefore, the joint body 4 first has both hem portions 8,
8 is placed by inserting the anchor bolt 13 into the notch 14, and then the fixture 10 is fitted into the anchor bolt 13, and then the nut 17 is screwed into the threaded head of the anchor bolt 13 and fastened. Further, the space of the notch 14 is filled with resin mortar 18, and the expansion joint 1 is installed so as to span the surfaces of the concrete members 3, 3. Note that chamfers 19 are provided at the corners of the top of the joint body 4 and the corners of the fixture 10 facing thereto to prevent the claws of a snowplow or the like from getting caught therein.

When the concrete members 3 on both sides expand due to high temperature and the joint 2 becomes narrow, the rubber member 5 of the expansion joint 1 easily deforms, resulting in the state shown in FIG. 5. Also, at low temperatures, the joint 2 expands and the expansion joint 1
is in the state shown in FIG.

Note that the heights of the joint body 4 and the fixture 10 may be made to be approximately the same as described above, but when the joint 2 becomes narrower as shown in FIG. Since the height of the joint body 4 tends to be high and may become an obstacle to traffic, it is advisable to set the height of the joint body 4 in advance to be somewhat lower than the height of the fixture 10, for example, by about 1 mm to 2 mm.

As mentioned above, this invention has an expansion joint 1 that is installed along the joint 2 of a concrete structure such as a road or a bridge, and spans the horizontal surface of the notch 14 of the concrete member 3 on both sides, so that the expansion joint 1 has a substantially square cross section. A joint body 4 is formed by baking and bonding metal plates 6 and 7 to the top and bottom surfaces of the formed rubber member 5, respectively.
and the anchor bolt hole 9 in the joint body 4.
and a metal fixture 10 which is placed on both hem portions 8 and is approximately at the same height as the top surface of the joint body 4 and has a recess for storing an anchor bolt tightening nut, and A space provided between the vertical side walls of both fixtures 10 and the vertical side wall of the notch 14 is filled with resin mortar and hardened.

According to this invention, the metal plates 6 and 7 are bonded to the top and bottom surfaces of the joint body 4, and the metal fixture 10, which is approximately the same height as the joint body 4, is made of metal, such as a wheel or a snowplow claw, etc. Since it contacts only the top surface of the metal plate 6 and the top surface of the fixture 10, there is less wear and tear caused by wheels, snowplow nails, etc. compared to the conventional case where rubber is exposed, and it is highly durable. Since the tool 10 is separate from the tool 10, it is economically advantageous because damage occurs only partially and only that part can be replaced. Furthermore, you can select fixtures of any height that suits the construction site. That is, when there is a construction error between the left and right anchor bolts 13, 13, the rubber member 5 deforms as shown in FIGS. 4 to 6, and the height of the metal plate 6 relative to the metal plate 7 becomes different. , a fixture 1 with a height appropriate for the situation
0 can be selected.
