Conventionally, this type of sterilization bag is made by folding a non-breathable synthetic resin film in two, pressing both edges of the film together, and inserting a breathable and bacteria-impermeable film slightly inside the pressed edges. A ribbon formed by folding a material having a shape in half is passed through both end edges of the synthetic resin film in the longitudinal direction and held therebetween, and the both longitudinal end edges of the ribbon are integrated with both end edges of the synthetic resin film. The edges of both ends of the ribbon are heat-sealed together with the both sides of the bag, so that both ends of the ribbon form outward openings on both sides of the bag. A sterilization bag is known in which the inside and outside of the bag are ventilated only through both openings of the ribbon and the surface of the ribbon that is not integrally heat-sealed with the synthetic resin film. Publication No. 44-23838). However, since this sterilization bag uses a ribbon made of a material that is breathable and impermeable to bacteria and folded in half, both longitudinal edges of the ribbon are heat-sealed together with both edges of the synthetic resin film. For this reason, the mounting position of the ribbon is limited to a position slightly inward of both edges of the synthetic resin film, and both longitudinal edges of the ribbon must be securely heat-sealed to the synthetic resin film. In order to prevent the permeation of bacteria from both longitudinal edges of the ribbon into the inside of the sterilization bag, a sufficient area is required for the heat-sealed portion between the longitudinal edges of the ribbon and the synthetic resin film. As a result, the surface area of the ribbon for sterilization gas penetration is reduced, resulting in a decrease in the sterilization gas penetration efficiency. Moreover, both longitudinal edges of the bent ribbon are not securely heat-sealed to the synthetic resin film. In order to do this, it is necessary to accurately align the heat-sealing position in the longitudinal direction of the ribbon, which has disadvantages such as complicated manufacturing.

The tubular ribbon 2 in the sterilization bag of the present invention is:
Since the breathable and bacteria-impermeable material is formed into a tubular shape, unlike conventional products in which a breathable and bacteria-impermeable ribbon is folded in half and both longitudinal end edges of the ribbon are heat-sealed with a synthetic resin film, there is no need to heat-seal the tubular ribbon 2 and the synthetic resin film along the longitudinal direction of the ribbon 2, so that the surface area of the tubular ribbon 2 for sterilizing gas penetration is large, which has the effect of improving the penetration efficiency of the sterilizing gas during sterilization treatment, and since there is no need for heat sealing along the longitudinal direction, there is no need to accurately align the heat sealing position, which has the advantage of making it easy to manufacture, and further the attachment position of the tubular ribbon 2 is not limited to a position slightly inside both end edges 3 of the synthetic resin film, but can be located approximately in the center of the bag body 1 (Figure 4). In this case, the tubular ribbon 2 is fixed,
In order to facilitate the insertion of the packaged article such as a medical instrument, the synthetic resin film on one side 1a of the bag body 1 and a part of the tubular ribbon 2 may be removed by pressing the synthetic resin film on the one side 1a of the bag body 1 with the tubular ribbon 2.
The tubular ribbon 2 can be heat sealed along the length of the bag 1 to form the fastening portion 7 (FIGS. 4 and 5). The fastening portion 7 is simply formed by fastening the tubular ribbon 2 to one side 1 of the bag 1.
Since the fixing portion 7 is provided for the purpose of fixing it to a, the proportion of the area that the fixing portion 7 occupies to the total surface area of the tubular ribbon 2 is small, and even if the fixing portion 7 is provided, the penetration efficiency of the sterilization gas is not reduced.
The fastening portion 7 may be formed not only by continuous heat sealing in the longitudinal direction of the tubular ribbon 2, but also by intermittent heat sealing. Furthermore, when the fastening portion 7 is formed by the above-mentioned heat sealing, a plurality of through holes 9 may be intermittently drilled in the fastening portion 7, as necessary, so as to penetrate the fastening portion 7 and reach the inner space 8 of the tubular ribbon 2 (Figs. 4 and 6).
When the holes are drilled in the tubular ribbon 2, both openings 5
This has the advantage that sterilizing gas can enter the inner space 8 of the tubular ribbon 2 not only through the through hole 9 but also through the through hole 9 .

The shape of the bag body 1 of the sterilization bag of the present invention is as in the above embodiment, with both end edges 3 made by folding a synthetic resin film in half and pressing them together, and the three sides of both side parts 4 of the bag body 1 being heat-sealed. The bag is not limited to the case where it is formed into a so-called three-sided seal type, and as shown in FIG. It may be formed into a so-called pillow type having a shape located in the trunk of the body 1. It goes without saying that even when the bag 1 is formed into a pillow type, the attachment position of the tubular ribbon 2 is not limited to the position of the fin-shaped portion 10, but can be attached to any position of the bag 1. . When the bag 1 is formed into a pillow type, the internal volume of the bag 1 can be easily expanded due to its structure, so that it is easy to insert the packaged product, and the edges of the sterilization bag into which the packaged product is inserted can be easily expanded. It has the advantage that it is difficult to form wrinkles around 3 and can prevent a decrease in product value due to the occurrence of wrinkles.

In order to sterilize products to be packaged using the sterilization bag of the present invention, one of the both sides 4 of the bag 1 is opened in advance, and the opened side 4 of the bag 1 is opened. After the packaged product is inserted inside, the side portion 4 is heat-sealed together with the end edge 6 of the side portion 4 of the tubular ribbon 2 to seal the packaged product. When the sterilized bag containing the packaged product is placed in a sterilizing gas atmosphere after evacuating the system, the air will be removed from both openings 5 of the tubular ribbon 2 (if the through hole 9 is formed, from the through hole 9). ), tubular ribbon 2
A sterilizing gas enters the inner space 8 of the bag, and the sterilizing gas that enters the inner space 8 permeates the surface of the tubular ribbon 2 and reaches the inside of the bag 1, where the packaged items are sterilized. In the sterilization bag of the present invention, the surface area of the tubular ribbon 2 for sterilization gas penetration is larger than that of conventional bags, so the sterilization gas penetration efficiency from the inner cavity 8 of the tubular ribbon 2 to the inside of the bag 1 is good. Therefore, it is possible to efficiently sterilize the packaged items.

As explained above, the sterilization bag of the present invention uses a tubular ribbon made of a material that is breathable and impermeable to bacteria. Unlike a ribbon made by folding a ribbon into two and heat-sealing both longitudinal edges of the ribbon with a synthetic resin film, the tubular ribbon has a larger surface area for sterilization gas penetration, which improves the sterilization gas penetration efficiency. It has the effect of allowing efficient sterilization, and there is no need to heat seal both longitudinal edges of the ribbon with the synthetic resin film.
It does not require the trouble of accurately aligning the heat-sealing position in the longitudinal direction of the ribbon, is extremely easy to manufacture, and has the advantage that the tubular ribbon can be attached to any position on the bag body.
