の重心が背当側から遠くなり、従つて散布作業に
際し、作業者は動力作業機自体により常時、背中
を後方に牽引される状況下におかれる故、身体に
抵抗を感じるとともに高速回転するフアンの風切
音に直接曝されることにより心身上の疲労を早期
に招来し、また、作業者が紋り弁を調整し、もし
くは曲管の位置を修正するとき等、誤つてフアン
ケースの吸入口に手や衣服の一部を吸いこまれ、
不測の傷害を蒙る惧れもある。そこで前述のよう
な欠点を改良するため、たとえば第5図にみるよ
うな形式の背負式動力散布機が提案されている。
即ちフアンケース11の下方に開放せる空気取入
れ口12に風導室13を介して連通され、かつこ
の空気取入口12と直交下に連通路14が形成さ
れ、しかして空気取入れ口12からフアンケース
11内に流入せる空気は矢印方向に流動し、フア
ン15の回動でその一部は窓孔16を経てエンジ
ン17側に流れる一方、薬剤槽18内の散布剤を
噴出する加圧風を形成している。そしてこの形式
にあつては、動力散布機全体の重心が前方に移
り、軽快に作業を遂行でき、またフアン15の回
動による騒音を従来形式の動力散布機に比して大
巾に減衰可能である等の利点を有している。併し
乍らかかる形式のものにあつては、空気取入れ口
12と連通路14との間に介在せる風導室13に
は隔壁19が沿設しているため、フアン15の点
検、調整、清掃等に際し、作業者は空気取入れ口
12から直接手を入れることが困難であり、また
手を入るようにするには、風導室13を大巾に拡
開する必要があるが、このため、結果的にはエン
ジン17が背負枠20から離れるとともに動力散
布機全体として大型化を余儀なくされるし、他
方、背負枠20とフアンケース11とは全く別個
に形成されているため、組付のための部品の多様
化、即ち点数の増大となり、組付、分解に手間が
