本考案は、果樹園等において薬剤散布に使用されるス
ピードスプレーヤの送風機構造に関するものである。The present invention relates to a blower structure of a speed sprayer used for spraying a medicine in an orchard or the like.
従来、果樹園等において一般的に使用されているスピ
ードスプレーヤは、機体の後部に設けた軸流送風機の風
胴の外周に沿って設けられた吐風口に開口させた多数の
噴射ノズルに薬液を供給し、該多数の噴射ノズルから噴
霧される薬液を送風機からの送風によって拡散し、一度
に、広範囲にわたって散布するものであった。 すなわち、送風機は、スピードスプレーヤの機体後部
にその風胴吸入口が露出した状態で設けられ、風胴の内
部に設けた翼車の回転作用による強力な吸引力で送風機
の風胴内に周囲の空気を吸引した後、前記吐風口より薬

護網に付着し易く、更には地上の枯草、落葉等も付着す
ることがあり、噴霧する薬剤散布のための送風性能を低
下させることがあった。 そこで、本考案は露出させた状態で設けられている送
風機の吸入口の保護網に木の葉や、地上の枯草、落葉等
が付着することがないように、該落葉等の吸込防止効果
を高めるとともに、薬剤散布の送風性能を低下させるこ
とがない送風機構造を提供することを目的とするもので

ク、3は軸流送風機、4は薬液の噴射ノズル、5は前記
送風機の風胴、5aは吸入口、5bは前記風胴の外周に沿っ
て設けられた吐風口である。 前記構成になるスピードスプレーヤは、作業者が運転
席に座って運転操作を行い、走行させつつ送風機3を駆
動させて噴射ノズル4からの薬液を吐出風に載せて周囲
へ散布させるものである。なお、前記送風機3は、風胴
5の後端に開口した吸入口5aが保護網7で覆われてい
る。本考案は、前記送風機3を構成する風胴5の後端部
に開口した吸入口5aの周縁から外方へ延出して少なくと
も前記吸入口5aの上側部を覆う適当長さの網で構成され
たカバー8を設けるものであり、第1図及び第2図にそ
の詳細が示されている。 同図実施例においては、前記カバー8が吸入口5aの下
方に棚状に設けた板カバー8aと、吸入口5aの周縁から外
方へ延出して少なくとも前記吸入口5aの上側部を覆う適
当長さの網カバー8bで構成されている。 前記構成になる本考案は、送風機3の吸入口5aの近く
に舞い落ちる木の葉、あるいは地上に枯草、落葉等があ
っても網カバー8bあるいは板カバー8aによって送風機3
への吸込みが防止され、従来のごとく吸入口5aの保護網
7に付着することがない。 なお、前記カバー8、具体的には、吸入口5aの周縁か
ら外方へ延出して少なくとも5aの上側部を覆う適当長さ
の網カバー8bを市販の金網を利用して構成すると、送風
機の空気吸引のための表面積が狭められることがないの
で送風性能の低下を招くこともなく、安価に作製出来て
