Claims (1)
の相対移動可能に挿通させられた作用軸と、該作
用軸のまわりにおいて軸方向に隔壁を挟んで形成
された一対の環状シリンダボア内に、それぞれ後
部を該隔壁に向けて軸方向の摺動可能に嵌合され
た一対のピストンと、該一対のピストンの後部間
に配設されて該一対のピストンをそれぞれ前進方
向へ付勢する圧縮コイルスプリングとを備え、該
一対のピストンと前記隔壁との間に形成された後
部圧力室内に圧力エアが供給されて該一対のピス
トンがそれぞれ制動位置へ前進させられることに
より、前記シリンダ本体内に配設された一対の制
動部材を前記作用軸に押圧して該作用軸と該シリ
ンダ本体との相対移動を阻止する一方、該一対の
ピストンの前方にそれぞれ形成された前部圧力室
内にそれぞれ圧力エアが供給されて該一対のピス
トンがそれぞれ制動解除位置へ後退させられるこ
とにより、前記制動部材の前記作用軸への押圧を
解除して該作用軸と前記シリンダ本体との相対移
動を許容し、且つ常には前記圧縮コイルスプリン
グの付勢力に従つて前記一対のピストンをそれぞ
れ前記制動位置に保持する形式の軸方向制動装置
において、 前記隔壁の内径を前記作用軸の外径と略一致さ
せる一方、該隔壁に等角度間隔で複数の貫通穴を
形成し、該貫通穴内に前記圧縮コイルスプリング
をそれぞれ配設したことを特徴とする軸方向制動
