Aspiration biopsy needles are used to collect tissue and body fluids from a living body for testing. When collecting tissue or body fluids, a diagnostic method may be performed in which a biopsy needle is inserted into the affected area while the affected area is observed using an ultrasound diagnostic device. At this time, since the ultrasound diagnostic device is operated with one hand, it is convenient if the biopsy needle can be operated with the other hand.

FIG. 3 shows a conventional suction-type biopsy needle that can be operated with one hand, and has a plunger 4 in a cylinder 1. A double needle 6 is fixed to the tip of the cylinder 1 via a lock joint 7, and the cylinder 1
A suction jig 13 is attached to the rear end. The suction jig 13 has a slider 11 that slides inside the slit 12 of the main body 10.
The end portion 1a of the cylinder 1 is fixed to the end portion 10a of the slider 1, and the end portion 4a of the plunger 4 is fitted into the fitting portion 11a of the slider 11.

In the above configuration, if you place your right thumb on the back of the main body 10 and pull the protrusion of the slider 11 toward you while holding the main body 10 between your index finger and middle finger,
The plunger 4 moves within the cylinder 1 and negative pressure is generated within the cylinder 1. This negative pressure is transmitted to the tip of the double needle 6, making it possible to aspirate tissue and body fluids from the affected area. Since one-handed operation is thus possible, the biopsy needle can be operated while also using an ultrasound diagnostic device.

However, with conventional suction-type biopsy needles, a suction jig must be attached to the ends of the cylinder and plunger, which makes handling difficult and increases costs if the needle is disposable. It is undesirable from a medical and hygienic point of view to divert the suction jig to another biopsy needle in order to avoid increased costs.

The present invention was made in view of the above, and in order to be easy to handle and to avoid increasing costs even if it is disposable, the cylinder is provided with a cut section, and the plunger is provided with a handle, so that it can be easily accessed from the cut section of the cylinder. To provide a suction type biopsy needle which projects outward and has an openable/closable lid at the end of the cylinder so that a plunger can be inserted into the cylinder.

FIG. 1a shows an embodiment of the present invention, in which a lid 2 that can be opened and closed is provided at the rear end of a cylinder 1, and cut portions 3 are formed at symmetrical positions on both sides of the lid 2. The cutout 3 starts from a predetermined position in the longitudinal direction of the cylinder 1 and terminates at its end. At its terminal end, for example, a temporary fixing portion 3a having a wide arc shape is formed. A plunger 4 is disposed within the cylinder 1, an inner needle 6a of a double needle is fixed to the tip of the plunger 1, and a handle 5 is provided on the shaft portion 4a at the rear end. The outer needle 6b of the double needle is fixed to the tip of the cylinder 1 via a lock joint 7, and a handle 5 protrudes from the cutout 3 of the cylinder 1 to the outside.
FIG. 1b shows a cross section of the double needle, which has a sharp tip and the inner and outer needles 6a, 6b are arranged coaxially.

In the above configuration, the lid 2 is opened as shown by the dotted line, and the plunger 4 is inserted into the cylinder 1 while leading the inner needle 6a. At this time, the handle 5 is guided into the cutout 3, and when the plunger 4 is housed in the cylinder 1, the lid 2 is closed. In this way, the suction type biopsy needle of the present invention is constructed.

In the suction type biopsy needle of the present invention, place your thumb on the back of the lid 2, and use your finger and middle finger to press the cylinder 1.
If you touch the handle 5 while lightly pinching it and pull it toward you, the plunger 4 will slide and suction of tissue or body fluids will be performed. When the suction operation is completed, handle 5
When the plunger 4 is slightly rotated in the same direction as the shaft portion 4a, the handle 5 is caught on the arc-shaped temporary fixing portion 3a, and the plunger 4 is rotated slightly in the same direction as the shaft portion 4a.
prevents it from moving back due to negative pressure. This state is shown in FIG. 2a, and the state in the middle of the suction operation is shown in FIG. 2b. According to FIG. 2b, it is possible to understand the structure in which a pair of cut portions 3 and handles 5 are provided at symmetrical positions.

As explained above, according to the suction type biopsy needle of the present invention, the cylinder is provided with a cut portion, the plunger is provided with a handle to protrude from the cut portion of the cylinder to the outside, and the end of the cylinder is provided with a lid that can be opened and closed. Since the plunger can be inserted into the cylinder, it is easy to handle and does not increase costs even if it is disposable. At the same time, it can be made smaller in size, can be sterilized and packaged individually for disposable use, and can be used only once to prevent secondary infection with pathogenic bacteria.
