取付け構造を改良した離型剤塗布装置に関する。

従来この種の複写機においては、用紙に転写さ
れたトナー像が定着ロールへオフセツトするのを
防止するため、フエルト状の塗布部材により定着
ロールに離型剤を塗布している。しかし従来の塗
布部材cは第1図に示すようにサポートaに対し
て固着具bでねじ止めされているため、汚損した
場合の交換作業が面倒であると共に、定着ロール
との接触部が汚損すると再使用が困難なため不経
済であるなどの欠点を有していた。

以下この発明の一実施例を第2図以下に示す一
実施例により詳述すると、図において1は図示し
ない複写機の定着装置に設けられた定着ロール
で、内装した図示しないヒータにより表面が定着
温度にまで加熱されていると共に、この定着ロー
ル1の表面には加圧ロール2が圧接されている。
3はこの装置の本体で、下端側が離型剤槽4内に
浸漬されたフエルト状の塗布部材5を有してお
り、この塗布部材5の上端側はほぼくの字形に屈
曲されて、屈曲部が定着ロール1の表面に圧接さ
れていると共に、他端側はサポート6に支持され
た取付け部材7に取付けられている。サポート6
は両端側が図示しない複写機のフレームなどに取
付けられ、またこのサポート6の水平部6aに取
付けられた取付け部材7は板ばねなどにより断面
がほぼへの字形に形成されている。上記取付け部
材7の一側部は定着ロール1側へ低く傾斜されて
いて、上面に長手方向に間隔的に多数の係止突起
7aが切起し形成されており、これら係止突起7
aに塗布部材5の上端側裏面が定着ロール1側へ
ずれないように係止されている。

との接触部が汚染した場合は塗布部材5の一端を
引き出して定着ロール1との接触位置を変えるだ
けで再使用できるので、従来の1回きりで交換し
ていたものに比べて非常に経済的である。しかも
取付け部材7を板ばねなどで形成すれば、塗布部
材5を弾性によつて均一に定着ロール1へ圧接で
きるため、定着ロール1へ離型剤を平均的に塗布
することもできる。
