A long piece of fabric is supported almost horizontally and sent forward.
A shot loop dryer is known as a hot air drying apparatus for drying fabric by blowing hot air onto both the upper and lower surfaces thereof. This short loop dryer has a main duct 1 erected inside the side wall of a drying chamber as shown in FIG. Hot air is blown upward and downward from slit nozzles 3 (see Fig. 2) that are bored in the width direction on both the upper and lower sides of the duct 2, and this hot air is conveyed by a conveyor bar 4 through the fabric passage between the upper and lower branch ducts 2. It is designed to be sprayed onto fabric F to dry it. The above-mentioned slit nozzle 3 is provided only on the lower surface of the uppermost branch duct 2, and only on the upper surface of the lowermost branch duct 2.

However, the conventional fabric drying device described above is
A slit nozzle 3 with a uniform gap width is bored on the upper or lower surface of a branch duct 2 with a uniform cross section, and the hot air diverted from the main duct 1 to the branch duct 2 is directly directed from the slit nozzle 3. As the hot air is blown out, as shown by the arrow P in FIG.
The drying is not uniform along the duct 2 and reaches its maximum on the free end side of the branch duct 2, and the minimum on the opposite side of the main duct 1, resulting in uneven drying of the fabric F, and the fabric F meandering, causing the drying of the many conveyor bars. There was a drawback that the fabric F came into contact with an endless chain (not shown) connecting the fabrics F in an endless manner, and the fabric F was therefore soiled.

That is, this invention branches out branch ducts in the width direction into multiple upper and lower stages from the main duct installed inside the side wall of the drying chamber, and drills ventilation holes in the front or rear plate of these branch ducts. A hot air guide plate is provided opposite the front plate or rear plate having the ventilation hole with a certain distance to form a static pressure chamber at the front or rear part of the branch duct. This fabric drying device is characterized in that a slit nozzle for blowing hot air is provided in the width direction on the upper or lower surface.

3 and 4, a rectangular cylindrical branch duct 11 is branched from the main duct 1 in the same manner as before, its free end is closed with an end plate 12, and the front plate 1
A ventilation hole 11b is formed in the shape of a slit in the width direction between the top and bottom of 1a. Static pressure is maintained at the front of the branch duct 11 by a hot air guide plate 13 having a U-shaped cross section, side plates 14, 14 at both left and right ends, and a plurality of auxiliary plates 15 that partition these side plates 14, 14 into a plurality of chambers. A chamber 16 is formed (see FIG. 5). The side plates 14, 14 described above close both ends of the static pressure chamber 16,
The hot air guide plate 13, which has a U-shaped cross section, has upper and lower flanges 13a, 13a each facing the front plate 11a of the branch duct 11 at a certain distance, forming a slit nozzle for blowing out hot air with a uniform gap width. 17,
17 is formed. Note that the auxiliary plate 15 is connected to the branch duct 1 similarly to the flange 13a of the hot air guide plate 13.
so as to face the front plate 11a of No. 1 at a slight distance,
and is provided in a vertical plane parallel to the side plate 14. Furthermore, slit nozzles 17 are provided only on the bottom surface of the static pressure chamber 16 at the top, and only on the top surface of the static pressure chamber 16 at the bottom.

In the above structure, the hot air sent from the main duct 1 to the branch duct 11 is transmitted through the ventilation hole 11 of the front plate 11a.
b is blown out horizontally forward, enters the static pressure chamber 16, collides with the inner surface of the hot air guide plate 13, splits into upper and lower parts, and spreads inside the static pressure chamber 16 while forming a vortex.
The static pressure within the static pressure chamber 16 is increased. The hot air is then passed through the upper and lower slit nozzles 1 of the static pressure chamber 16.
It is blown upward and downward from 7 and 17 and is sprayed onto the fabric F. In this case, the pressure distribution of the hot air becomes uniform in the static pressure chamber 16, so the slit nozzle 17,
The direction of the hot air blown out from the slit nozzle 17 is almost vertical, and its strength is uniformly distributed along the slit nozzle 17. Therefore, the fabric F is dried evenly and uniformly in the width direction, and the fabric F does not meander, thereby preventing the fabric F from coming into contact with the endless chain connecting the conveyor bar 4 and becoming soiled. . Therefore, in the above embodiment, the slit nozzle 17 is provided at the rear end of the static pressure chamber 16, and the auxiliary plate 15 is provided in the static pressure chamber 16 to rectify the hot air. The direction of the heated air flow is more precisely controlled and the intensity is distributed more evenly.

In the above embodiment, the front plate 1 of the branch duct 11
The ventilation hole 11b of 1a is not limited to a slit shape spanning the entire width, but may be a small circular hole or short slits provided intermittently. Further, the above-mentioned ventilation holes 11b can be provided in the uppermost branch duct 11 along the upper edge of the front plate 11a, and in the lowermost branch duct 11 along the lower edge of the front plate 11a. In addition, the slit nozzle 17 of the static pressure chamber 16
may be moved slightly forward. Furthermore, although the above embodiment is an example of a short loop dryer, the branch duct 2 is used instead of the conveyor roller 4.
Other types of hot air dryers may be used, such as one in which guide rollers are provided in multiple stages before and after the fabric F to feed the fabric F in a zigzag pattern. In particular, only the uppermost branch duct 11 and the lowermost branch duct 11 can be used in a tenter by vertically opposing each other. Further, the static pressure chamber 16 may be provided on the rear surface of the branch duct 11.

As explained above, in this invention, a static pressure chamber is formed on the front or rear surface of the branch duct, and hot air is blown out from this static pressure chamber, so the direction of hot air blowing is to the side. There is no inclination, and the strength of the hot air blown out is uniform, which prevents uneven drying and staining of the fabric and improves the quality of the fabric.
