Paper pot seedlings are grown in paper tubes of 14 m/m square, and these paper pot units are glued together, 20 in the horizontal direction and 42 in the vertical direction, to form a rectangular group pot as a whole. The seedlings are formed into seedlings, and these clustered pot seedlings are grown by dot-seeding in each unit in a seedling box similar to normal pine seedlings.

If you want to divide and plant one unit of pot seedlings by placing these clustered pot seedlings on the seedling table of the rice transplanter and facing the seedling take-out port, insert the planting claw of the planting rod from above the pot seedlings, and After scraping it off, plant it on the rice field. However, as shown in FIGS. 7 and 8, in the planting claws 2 of the conventional planting device, the longitudinal direction of the cross section of the claws is parallel to the same direction as the scraping direction A of the potted seedlings 8. Therefore, the resistance of the bed soil to the scratching of the planting claws 2 is reduced, and as a result, the rooting of the seedlings is too good and the bond between adjacent potted seedlings 8 is too strong, or conversely, the rooting of the seedlings is too strong. In the case of extremely damp potted seedlings, the planting claws 2 may pass through the soil bed and tear the paper cylinder 9 surrounding the soil bed. For this reason, the planting claws 2 fail to pick up the potted seedlings 8, resulting in missing plants.

Fig. 1 shows the overall side view of the pot seedling planting device according to the embodiment, in which the middle part A is pivotally supported so as to draw a circular locus B, and the front end pivot part C is pivoted so as to draw a reciprocating circular arc locus. It is a regular planting rod for pot seedlings, and is provided with a vertically movable rod 3 at the rear end, and a claw attachment part at the rear of the axis of the rod 3. A planting claw 2, which sticks into the bed soil of a unit pot seedling 8 from above, is fixed to the claw attachment part of the planting rod 1 with a bolt. The planting claws 2 are provided in pairs on the left and right, and have sharply pointed tips. In addition, a seedbed support bellow 4 is removably fixed to the lower end of the rod 3 via a threaded part with a nut, and this rod 3 and seedbed support bellow 4 are integrated to move up and down with respect to the planting rod 1. It's starting to move. Reference numeral 5 denotes a pin fixed to the side of the seedbed support scraper 4 facing the planting claw 2, and when the seedbed support scraper 4 descends, the potted seedlings 8
The role of pushing the top surface of the floor soil part. Behind the planting rod 1, there is a seedling mounting table 7 that reciprocates in the lateral direction perpendicular to the direction of movement of the rice transplanter main body as shown by arrow B. The seedling take-out port 6 facing the planting rod 1 is at a low level and the rear side is at a high level. It is installed at an angle so that This seedling mounting table 7 is sized to hold normal pine seedlings (width 280 mm x length 580 mm), so there are 20 unit pot seedlings in the horizontal direction within this seedling placing table 7. 42 pot clusters of rectangular pots glued vertically are placed. For each unit pot seedling facing the seedling take-out port 6 of the grouped pot seedlings placed on the seedling table 7 in this way, the tip of the planting claw 2 is pierced into the bed soil, and the movement trajectory shown by the chain line C is moved. When moving, scratch the unit pot seedling 8.
is separated from the pot group seedlings. The separated potted seedlings 8 are carried to the rice field while being stuck in the planting nails 2, and then the seedbed supporting bellows 4 are lowered by the protrusion of the rods 3, and the potted seedlings 8 are pushed in with the pins 5 and planted on the rice field.

As shown in FIGS. 2 to 4, the pair of left and right planting claws 2 each have a twisted portion 2a that also serves as a regulating step that regulates the depth of penetration of the planting claws 2 into the pot seedling 8. A pair of left and right claw portions located below the twisted portion 2a are formed in a V-shape. That is, as shown in FIG. 3, the longitudinal direction of the nail cross section is not parallel to the scraping direction A of the planting nail 2, but spreads laterally. Therefore, the resistance of the planting claws 2 to scrape off the potted seedlings 8 against the soil is correspondingly large.

The planting claw 2 follows the movement trajectory C to plant the potted seedling 8.
The claws that stick into the bed soil will scrape out the pot seedlings 8 by the distance l that passes through the seedling take-out port 6 of the seedling table 7. Because it spreads horizontally in the shape of a letter, the resistance to scraping is large, and the roots are so well spread that it may cause damage to neighboring potted seedlings.
Even if the pot seedlings are too strongly bonded to each other, they can be easily separated from the group of pot seedlings without tearing the paper tube 9 surrounding the pot seedlings 8.

In addition, since the above-mentioned twisted portion 2a is a regulating stepped portion that restricts the depth of penetration of the planting claw 2 into the soil bed portion to be shallower than the height of the soil bed portion, the twisted portion 2a
By contacting the upper surface of the floor soil, the claw portion will not penetrate into the floor soil any further. Therefore,
In general, the depth at which the planting claw 2 penetrates into the bed soil varies depending on the rooting of the seedling, the type of bed soil, the method of packing the bed soil, the moisture content, etc. Regulation step part 2 that regulates the depth of penetration into the pot seedling 8
a, it is always maintained constant regardless of the above-mentioned seedling conditions, and even when the seedlings are in extremely damp pots with poor rooting, the claws below the regulating step 2a are There is no possibility of passing through the floor soil part and tearing the paper cylinder 9 surrounding the floor soil part.

In the embodiment described above, the tips of the planting nails 2 were formed so that the pair of left and right sides were formed in a V-shape.
Without being limited to this, for example, as shown in FIG. 5, the tips of the left and right planting claws 2 may be formed in an inverted V-shape. In this case, the twisting direction of the twisted portion 2a provided on the planting nail 2 may be twisted in the opposite direction to that in the above embodiment. The center part of such a V-shape or an inverted V-shape forms a sufficient space to prevent the planting claws 2 from damaging the seedlings. Alternatively, as shown in FIG. 6, the tip of the planting nail 2 may be twisted so that the longitudinal direction of the nail cross section is substantially perpendicular to the direction A in which the pot seedlings 8 are scraped.
In this case, it is desirable that the width of the planting nails 2 be short so that both outer ends of the planting nails 2 do not directly touch the paper cylinder 9. In any case, it is necessary that the direction of the claw portion of the planting claw 2 that pierces the potted seedling 8 spreads in the lateral direction with respect to the direction in which the potted seedling is scraped.

As mentioned above, the present invention is provided with a planting rod that moves up and down facing the seedling table on which group pot seedlings are placed, and the planting rod has a pair of left and right planting claws that pierce the unit pot seedlings. In the pot seedling planting device installed,
The direction in which the planting nails penetrate the potted seedlings is oriented horizontally to the direction in which the potted seedlings are scraped, and the depth at which the planting claws penetrate into the potted seedlings is regulated to be shallower than the height of the potted seedlings. Because of the stepped section,
As the planting claws stick into the pot seedlings laterally, the scraping resistance of the potted seedlings increases and the scraping force of the planting claws is applied to the entire potted seedlings, resulting in poor rooting of the seedlings. Although it is possible to reliably scrape and divide unit potted seedlings from grouped potted seedlings even when the bonds between adjacent potted seedlings are strong, in addition, when scraping and dividing the potted seedlings, the regulation step always makes it difficult to divide the potted seedlings. Since the penetration depth of the planting claw can be kept constant and shallower than the height of the potted seedling, the planting claw can pass through the bed soil even when the seedling is poorly rooted and is in an extremely damp pot. To surely scrape and divide unit pot seedlings from group pot seedlings without tearing the paper cylinder surrounding the parts.

Therefore, unit pot seedlings can be smoothly scraped and divided from group pot seedlings without tearing the paper cylinder, thereby preventing the occurrence of missing plants.
