Description

【考案の詳細な説明】 この考案は面状発熱体の室温感知を行う素子の
設置位置の改良に関するものである。
従来、室温感知素子を設置してある場合は第１
図に示すように発熱体イの周囲からリード線ロで
突出させ、発熱体イの熱影響をうけない場所に設
置していた。この場合、室温感知素子ハが発熱体
イから突出しているので、該リード線ロを足でひ
つかけたり、ふみつけたりして破損しやすいとい
う欠点があつた。
本考案は上記の点に鑑みてなされたものであ
り、その目的とするところは、発熱体の熱影響を
受けず、しかも使用上安全であるという室温感知
素子を内蔵した面状発熱体を提供するものであ
る。
以下本考案の一実施例を示す第２図及び第３図
にもとづいて面状発熱体を説明すると、１は発熱
体で平板状に形成され、毛やフエルト等のカーペ
ツト材の内方には面発熱体（図示せず）が埋め込
まれている。そして該面発熱体の一部が切欠かれ
て端子部２が構成されている。そして通常この端
子部２はプラスチツクで箱状に形成され、内部空
間には種々の温度制御部品等が配設されている。
そしてその端子部２の一部を区画して独立した空
間部３が設けられ、該空間部３の上面と下面には
それぞれ複数の透孔４が穿設されている。更にそ
の空間部３には室温感知素子５が配線設置されて
いる。その室温感知素子５は上下面の透孔４を通
して流入する室内の空気の温度を検出して、別回
路の温度制御回路に連絡されて面状発熱体の温度
を制御する構造である。
本実施例では、透孔を上面と下面に設けたが、
必要に応じて側面に設けることも可能である。
該面状発熱体の室温感知部の上面に例えば水が
こぼれた場合、透孔４から水が空間部３に浸入す
るがその水は下面に設けた透孔４から流出し、空
間部３内に水が溜ることがない。
本考案は上述するように、発熱体の一部を切欠
いて端子部とし、且つその端子部の内に独した空
間部を設けたので、その空間部の内に入れた室温
感感知素子が発熱体の熱影響を受けることが少な
く、しかもその空間部の上面と下面に空気を流通
させる透孔を設けてあるので、より正確に室温検
知ができ、しかも例え水がこぼれても空間部内に
溜まることなく使用上特にすぐれたものである。

案の一実施例を示し、第２図は要部斜視図、第３
図は要部断面図を示す。 １……発熱体、２……端子部、３……空間部、
４……透孔、５……室温感熱素子。

    【実用新案登録請求の範囲】
  1. 面発熱体を基材の中に埋込んで平板状の発熱体
    を構成し、該発熱体の周囲の一部を切欠いて端子
    部を形成し、該端子部の中に独立した空間部を設
    け、その空間部には空気を流通させる透孔を設け
    てなり、該空間部内に室温感知用素子を内蔵して
    なることを特徴とした面状発熱体。
