Abstract

PURPOSE:To obtain a water-proofing film-forming agent capable of applying a finishing, water-proofing and caulking treatments to exterior wall with single agent and giving a film having excellent stretchability and weather resistance, by dispersing a plasticizer, a pigment dispersant, an anti-foaming agent and inorganic fine powder in an acrylic polymer emulsion. CONSTITUTION:The objective film-forming agent is produced by dispersing preferably 1.0-2.5wt.% of a plasticizer, preferably 0.1-0.4wt.% of a pigment dispersant, preferably 0.2-1.0wt.% of an anti-foaming agent and preferahbly 18-28wt.% of inorganic fine powder (preferably having particle diameter of 3-25mum) in an acrylic polymer emulsion.

[Detailed Description of the Invention] (a) Field of Industrial Use This invention relates to waterproof coating agents, specifically roofs of concrete, asbestos, iron plates, canopies, rooftops, bricks, blocks, etc.
Waterproofing of walls such as fibrocement, mid-to-high-rise buildings, factories, houses, etc., repair of small cracks, scratches, and small holes,
Repairing large cracks and holes using fiberglass, cotton cloth, and other fabrics, coating exterior walls, sealing roof joints, gutters, and other plumbing joints, roof repair, sealing window frames, Hebel joints, and expansion joints. This product relates to a waterproof coating agent that can be used as a caulking material for bathroom walls, ceiling finishes, kitchen wall finishes, etc.

(c) Problems that the invention seeks to solveHowever,
Waterproof coatings made from conventional waterproof paints lack elasticity, and therefore have the problem of cracking after being applied to the surfaces to be painted, such as buildings, roofs, and walls. Also, conventionally,
Exterior finishes, waterproofing, and caulking were separate formulations and applied separately.

(d) Means for Solving the Problems In view of the above-mentioned circumstances, the present inventor has developed an excellent waterproofing film that does not cause cracks that occur after coating the object by imparting elasticity to the waterproof coating. The purpose is to provide a coating agent. That is, these problems are eliminated by a waterproof coating agent characterized by an acrylic resin emulsion and a plasticizer, a pigment dispersant, an antifoaming agent, and an inorganic fine powder dispersed in the emulsion. .

Apply a waterproof coating to the construction surface using a brush, roller, spray, etc. The film thickness is desirably about 1-1.2 mm when dry. When applying to cracks and seams, first apply a waterproof coating to the surface to be applied, then patch with fiberglass, cotton cloth, cheesecloth, or other fabric before the second application dries, and - the adhesive state of the second application is gone. By the way, do the second application.
